The pole chain saw cuts well but when pole extended it is difficult to hold steady becuase of it's weight on the chainsaw end. I don't know if others have the same issue but this has been my impression in the little time i have had to use it.

Too soon to determine reliability. Good feature is being able to separate the saw from the pole to perform ground level cutting. Used mostly on dead pine tree limbs. Need to be careful to keep balance after cutting through a limb or saw will impact the ground.

I have five trees that I keep trimmed in a particular shape on the side of my house. In the past it was a major chore because of the height and the need for a ladder that would reach 10 foot. No more with this pole chainsaw. It's light, easy to use and makes the job 100% easier and faster. Great investment at a great price. I highly recommend this product to the Do It Yourseflers out there.

This is an engineering marvel. Easy to convert from hand to pole. Hard to know how they could improve. When working with the pole extended, the business end is really hard to control due to it's weight. I was able to do what I needed to trim branches at end of pole, however. If you are average or better strength in upper body, this is the chain saw to get the job done.

Clever design and easy to snap on and off the pole. I'm a petite woman so it gets heavy for me if I use the pole. Thus it was difficult to keep the balance and to control exactly where to cut. I prefer to climb up the ladder and cut as handheld chainsaw for those branches I can reach. Quite powerful and it's sufficient for pruning my fruit trees. I have paid hundreds of dollars for some tree service people to prune my trees but they just couldn't get it right. Unless I spend even more for an arborist, but now I can prune the trees the way I want.

Hi I've had it 2 months works great used it on pine-avocodo and other tree limbs--easy to use- cuts down on the mess=cut it down with pole use small saw to cut up --the small saw is small enough to cut up branches inside a large trash can =less mess--allready paid for itself gardener wanted $100 to cut the pine tree

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Soup2Nuts Layout a few more bucks for a better saw.
- Easy to assemble (though the chain was a little awkward), start and use.
- Good reach.
- Chain needed readjustment/tightening every few minutes. This was a MAJOR PROBLEM while working on the roof trimming limbs - especially those near power & phone lines.
- I expected it to be top heavy & it was.

Easy to use with one exception, that being when fully extended it is a bit cumbersome in balance. Other wise great for small to medium pruning chores.
