Customer Questions & Answers

I need solar panel for glass door.

Sun is burning wood inner door, what do you suggest?
Asked by: Msrilyn
If you have a screen door already, this would probably block the sun, but I'd look for 95% protection and I think this one is 85%. If you have a glass storm door, I'd look for the static cling window tint that really does a good job blocking UV light. This screen allows air and rain to go through so it works best for a porch wall or roof type application.

Shipping volume

I need to carry the rolls on an airplane and need to know the shipping volume for one roll, (or 3 rolls) since I must provide a suit case or any other bag to check the fabric

Will it keep mosquitos out

Repeat question that was never answered: Does rain penetrate this screen? Lost big shade tree over large mass of LentenRoses, stil need water

Asked by: PK

does the rain pass thru the screen?

Asked by: harry
yep, this screen will not keep anything under it dry.

Is it heavy enough to offer privacy with one layer

Asked by: Dot
Depends on how much privacy you require. I use mine to partially block my neighbor's porch from mine since we are only 12' apart. We can still see each other, but to have a friendly conversation warrants a step off the porch to see each other better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Provides shade at a low cost We doubled the fabric as suggested in another reivew. It cuts out the sun and can be removed for the winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Used as a canopy on the deck. Easy to install however. I think I will use 2nd layer.. Sure enjoy sitting outside again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great This is lightweight enough to flap in the wind without being a problem. It does work great at keeping the sun out. Very pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, but pricey This is an easy product to work with. Too early too tell if it will hold up to claims of rot, mildew, and fade resistance. It stretches easily and we like the added value of color. We are using it to cover an old fence. The boards are ugly but still have life. We've already covered a 45 foot fence section with a 50-foot roll and it is beautiful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product Makes a good sun screen in our atrium. The only thing I would change is that I would not use the "clips" that are shown in the information for installation. They tend to want to tear the fabric - not just hold it in place. Using a staple gun worked better - I just learned that a little too late.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the green sunscreen fabric I haven't used this roll yet but the rest of my garden is covered with it from last year or the year before. I take it out in May, hang it over my vegetable garden and roll it back up in October or November. It keeps my plants alive in the merciless afternoon summer sun in Corona. Great stuff!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works very well The fabric is durable. Made it through a large hail storm intact. it holds up at securing points and appears to hold up under intense UV.
