Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saved our Puppies We bought this to line the inside of our fence. We put up an wrought iron looking fence (aluminum) a couple of years ago. Unfortunately our new puppies were small enough to fit right through the vertical rails. We bought the 100' roll, cut it in half and lined 200' of fence with it. We just tied it on with zip ties. They have jumped on it with their front paws trying to get out to play with the kids in the neighborhood and the mesh holds them. Another month or so and the puppies should be large enough to not fit through the rails. One other thing, the fence is black and the mesh is black. The neighbors didn't even know we put it up. It worked for us. November 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this stuff!!!!! We have purchased this netting to stop the deer from using our arborvitae, as a buffet. We have a LOT of them. In one area the arborvitaes are in a row along our lot line. We live in the suburbs, with woods nearby. The deer definitely love to munch on our greenery. This past winter was especially hard on them with the Polar Vortex. Although they are smart enough to move the meshing, so they can snack, the price of the roll in inexpensive enough to double up where there is a break in the mesh. This year, I'll try to keep it double as a previous reviewer recommended. We secure it to the branches, using zip ties. The bad spot in the meshing is where the neighbors in the back, have their driveway along the arborvitae. Getting in and out of their cars could have created the tears in the meshing. There are a couple of places where the deer have moved it to munch. The fawns have eaten the bark off our pygmy fire shrub, so that bush is next to be protected. I buy more than needed, so I have it on hand. In the summer, I lay it on my hostas. That is their summer snack at night. Just make sure any parts of the mesh, stays off the lawn. The tractor just grabbed one part of the mesh and yanked. It blends in so nicely, we don't take it down all year. October 23, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does nothing to hinder deer. Deer went through the fence first night! What a waste of time. I have to admit I was skeptical and should have known better. I don't think this product should advertise any sort of protection from deer. October 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Keeping Bambi at bay Easy to put up but it helps to have two people doing it. At seven feet tall it should keep the deer at bay. January 1, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by just a deterrent i put this fence up around my garden in March before the deer had a chance to taste my vegetables. It kept them out until July when everything else was hot and dry. I guess my lush green vegetables were to tempting, so the deer broke down the fence. In another note, i have had to free the occasion bird who gets trapped in the netting. i secured the fence to poles with zip ties and during high wind the fence would rip loose. all that being said, it was relatively cheap and it worked for awhile. it might be sufficient if you only have the occasional deer where as in my yard I've seen a herd of 14!
