I was trying to find a way to attach my sun block material to my camper without paying the outragous prices at the typical camping stores and this product was just what I was looking for. Very easy to install requiring only the use of a pair of pliers. Locks in place and stays where you want them.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by handson DO NOT BUY THESE CLIPS
These clips are a perfect example of very poor design and marginal material. The clips are supposed to bend over the cable and the teeth are supposed to line up once the clips are compressed to snap it together. They will not bend properly and the teeth will not line up. All you are left with are broken teeth and a worthless product that does not do what the manufacture claims is an easy solution. I've been in residential construction for 40 years and rarely have come across such a worthless design/product.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Maria The clips appear to hold the screen fabric pretty good. I rated good because I have not yet experience wind.
It was really easy to install the fabric with the locking clips. I did need three packages for an 8 x 13 feet pergola.

These clips are great for tying your shade screen down. I was using regular grommets and wire and the wind still ripped the shade cloth. Bought 2 packages of these. The only issue I ran into was the spikes are hard to close. I used pliers and only broke 2 of the spikes. They hold strong in the Phoenix Summer wind. I have them about 12" - 18" apart and used wire to attach them to pipe. I like the UV protection that is incorporated into the holders. Thanks Home Depot for offering these.

The installation is easy enough - even easier if you use pliers to snap them down. The only problem I have with these clips is their endurance in the desert sun - they just don't last long - maybe 3 to 5 months - before the sun turns them brittle and they break apart. Make sure that you keep a few extra to replace the ones that break during the year.

Clips do the job but you need a pliers to snap them in place even after you work snap tabs thru the fabric. Also you need to perfectly align tabs with holes or they will break off. Not easily reusable. Priced well compared to other brands from other sources...
