Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great item. Too bad it is not sold in stores! This is great for a bathroom, especially if you have young children. The night light is fully automatic and has different illumination settings. It's almost too inexpensive for what it does. Overall, great item for a great value. November 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by easy to install (5 min) and works well. This switch was perfect for a room that needed a nightlight but all outlets had furniture in front of them. It was easy to install and requires very few tools. February 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by versatile and worth the money This night-light may be small, but it is MIGHTY! I wanted a night-light that fits in a electrical box and that can be switched on and off. I didn't want the type that just stays on when it's dark. It turns out that this one can be set up to work either way. And the brightness can be adjusted. This one additionally has a switch which I used for the main bathroom lights. They also make one without the switch, so the night-light occupies the whole front area of the device. My only slight nit-pick about it is that the light is somewhat harsh, more of a cold blue-white than what you would get from a normal incandescent night-light. But it probably uses much less electricity than an incandescent. The picture shows the night-light and switch mounted in the left gang of a two-gang box. The other bay is occupied by a timer for an overhead fan. I used a cover plate which hides the screw heads, giving a nice clean look. December 20, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by works as advertised the nitelight's automatic on/off feature has a 3 to 5 second delay and it will not automatic turn on if you manually shut off the light. the package should also include a short piece of wire which will most likely be required for most installation December 19, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Light works great Nightlight feature works great. Love the ability to adjust the intensity of the nightlight feature and also being able to turn it on and off. The instructions show it being installed where only 1 switch is housed in the box, but my bathroom has 3 switches within the box and the neutrals are all tied together. After 10 minutes I figured it out, I needed to install a jumper wire from the neutrals to the switch and I had to do the same to the other bathroom switch although that one only had 2 switches. I can see where a novice would have trouble trying to figure it out with the instructions that are provided. November 4, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent light It does what it says it'll do. The settings are great, you can control the brightness level with several preprogrammed levels. The only thing I'd prefer to see changed is the responsiveness of the sensor. When I shut the door, it can take up to 10 seconds to turn on. Other outlet/night light combos I've installed are immediately reactive and start to come on as soon as light starts to fade- this one is All or Nothing. It pops on, and pops off. It's not quite a deal breaker, I just know when I shut the bathroom door in the daytime, that I'm going to need to wait 5-10 seconds before I get a bit of light. July 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Serves its purpose - Installation can be tricky The product works well for its intended purpose, which is to add a night light to an existing switch location. I carefully read the specifications and wiring requirements prior to placing my order. In my case, there were both hot and neutral wires in my electrical box -- but if there are not, installation could be much more cumbersome. If found iInstallation to be a bit tricky (I have intermediate skills), but successfully installed the product in about 30 minutes. I'm sure an electrician could perform the same task in just a few minutes. I love the ability to change the light intensity and to manually switch it off/on. The product design fits nicely with most decors. The primary downside -- it's an expensive night light by most any standard. February 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nightlight switch Easy to install, only requires a neutral (white) line. Light has a separate switch to shut it off during the day. Light can also be dimmed or made brighter. October 23, 2014
