Easy to install and a life saver at that. Keeps generator from back feeding thru the utility service.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jenkins great product for the BR series panels
We are a Electrical Contractor and have a hard time finding this interlock kit at our supply houses, the great thing about this product is there is no doubt on the UL listing with other after market kits out there this is always a concern.

Generator interlock kit is very well made and works as intended. Installation instructions must be read and followed carefully. Kit is expensive but necessary for safety and code compliance.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ac Good for Eaton/Cutler Hammer 200 Amp load center with top center main breaker
I initially hesitated at the price for a simple metal plate, but grew frustrated shopping for a transfer switch so I gave in and bought this. I'm glad I did. You get a quality product, and the flexibility to access your entire panel and choose the circuits you want to power at any given time (subject to your generator's capacity).
The 2 assembled plates are made of a heavy gauge steel, powdercoated, and do slide very smoothly. The kit includes the breaker holddown plastic block and long screw, which are available as a separate kit that you do not need to buy (BRHDK125). The dedicated holddown device for the backfed circuit breaker is required by code. The kit also includes stickers that contain the written warning notices required by code for the installed backfeed system (interlock plate, backfeeding breaker, backup generator).

The interlock kit is well made, slides up and down as if it's on bearings (though it's not), and installs very easily. This is by far the cheapest and easiest method of interfacing a remote generator to your electrical panel legally.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Patrick Necessary component for incorporate generator back. But a relatively expensive item.
Well made. Easy to install. Instructions are clear. Also includes lock down clip and screw to secure backfed circuit breaker to buss. Works as advertised. Part cost almost as much as the 200 amp service panel it is installed in.
