I'm a Window Installer in New York, I've had several customers concerned about the harmfull toxins in regular caulking. One customer has a parrot & wanted a Non-Toxic caulking for her windows, if it wasn't for Eco Bond I would of never of been able to sell her the windows. All her friends told her how regular calk smells to high heaven & with pets & children in the house she was very insistant that we use the Pet Safe product. After the first application I was a firm believer, no smell, No PCB's NoN Toxic, the customer was so happy & we used half the amount that we would of used being that it was so thick when applied & dried fast... I was just disappointed in the shipping price....

I chose this product for use in a LEED Gold building. Used as a sealant when mounting a stand with concrete anchors to prevent water from entering at the anchors. Used as an adhesive to mount a rubber sculpture to a fiberglass base.
So far this stuff has done an excellent job.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wisconsinhomeowner Perfect for my job; no smell means I can do it myself
I'm a chemically sensitive homeowner who is gung-ho to do improvements myself. I have been air sealing in my house and the Eco-bond products have allowed me to complete the work without being sickened in the process. I used the heavy duty adhesive to seal the duct boots to the subfloor and it was perfect. It has a slight scent of peppermint but you really have to get up close to smell it. Otherwise, nothing! I am so happy that Eco-bond's products exist for people like me who are inexplicably super-sensitive and need a safe option. And that it's out there for all the contractors who are so often exposed to really nasty stuff. PS -- This company is based in Wisconsin, which also makes me happy to support a business in my state.

I was repairing glass tiles on walls in my bathroom, and this did exactly what I needed it to. Strong hold, quick, no harmful vapors. What more could you ask for?

Did a good job sealing around flange tile guide and securing it to the floor. It should be available in a single tube as I used less than a third of one for my project. It did not hold transition strip to the tile effectively though. It popped off when my toe hit it. It peeled off very easily when I had to remove it.
I ended up using Gorilla Glue on the strip. It is flexible when it dries.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AaronD Exactly what I needed - Non-Toxic, Odorless, and it Works!
The only downside is that it has to be ordered and is not available in stores. This product is perfect for anyone looking to caulk without the toxic VOCs of traditional products. This is a great multi-purpose caulk. I used it on a bathtub and shower and have had no issues. Very tacky and handles well.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DrFuManchu Solid example of strong eco-friendly product line.
This product continues to be my go-to for caulking and sealing over the past couple of years, doubling as a strong adhesive. It is true that there are no VOC-related odors. I have used it both inside and outside for windows, gutters and sinks. Texture and workability are somewhere between acrylic caulk and silicon. It does cure in wet, cold environments, though it may be tricky to get it to stick to the wet surface rather than pulling back with the tube or implement that you are spreading with. It is paintable, but it will probably be lighter than any surface that is not also white. The "Heavy Duty" has many of the same additives as the window/door and kitchen/bathroom Eco-bond products, like anti-UV and mildew resistant characteristics. Technical manager returned my call within a day to explain the product differences. There was some mildew growth around our sink after a year - not sure if that was related to this product or because I spread it over old caulk that wasn't properly removed/cleaned. Remember to insert a nail into the open tip of a half-used tube to help reduce clogging before your next project a month or two down the road. I've smoothed with my finger or silicon tool and wiped off right away with paper towels with good success. Gets tacky quickly, though.
