CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 1.7 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Waste of Time and Money If this CFL bulb represents the wave of the future, then we are swimming in the wrong direction! Bought twelve of these when incandescents became hard to find - to date, none has lasted longer than six months, with the average life closer to one/two months. Forget the warranty statement - who's going to box up and mail one of these back to the manufacturer every month. Finally gave up and switched to LED's - higher cost but longevity makes them a bargain compared to these. No longer have to get on the ladder to change the same bulbs every month. The biggest surprise is that a class organization like Home Depot continues to offer its customers such an obviously inferior product! November 16, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by False advertising The box says these lights last 7 years, 3 out of the six I've bought died at 6 months. March 2, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bulbs burn out fast and are slow to turn on I bought a 2-pack of these bulbs. The first one burnt out in 2 days. The second one lasted for less than a year. When first turned on, the light bulb is very dim (weaker than a nightlight) and it takes about 5 minutes to reach full brightness. November 5, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice light for the price I run a dozen of these in my garage, they replaced fluorescents there, and replaced halogen floods around my house's perimeter. I have gotten a couple of duds that fail within 48 hours, but most last a long time. They put out low light until warm but once they're warm the light is fantastic. I agree they probably aren't the best for continual switching but for lights that you want bright and to stay on for periods of time they do great. Will continue to buy them, as they stay on for 6-12 hours at a time in my application. June 7, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Slow Coming Up to Full Brightness I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned this. They are very dim when first turned on and take from 3-5 minutes to come up to full brightness. Don't put them in an area where you need immediate light or are frequently turning them off and on. July 10, 2011
