Answer:
Yes, However, due to the depth of the back of the light, your recessed can needs to either be deep or be adjustable to enable the light to properly be installed. If during the process, you find that the bulb is scraping against the fixture, remove the bulb and try adjusting the height inside the can.

Thank you for your interest in EcoSmart LED lamps.
Both of these terms related to the lamp "color temperature". The color temp is the perceved color of the lamps LED's. Warmer, or more yellow color temps would be about 2700K, while cooler, or whiter color temps would be 5000K.

Daylight color temp is usually rated at 5000K to 6500K, producing a very bright light that enhances the colors of items that are illuminated by it. Preferred for commercial or industrial applicatoins where visual clarity and color rendering are important.
Bright Light is a relative term, as all LED color temps are "bright". In this situation the EcoSmart LED lamp with Bright on the package indicates 3000K lamp color. The lamp color is a bit more yellow, "warmer" than the daylight lamp. The lamp color is prefered in residential, restaurants and some commercial applications. The warmer color provides a softer, more soothing light source.

Answer:
Thank you for you for your interest in Ecosmart LED lamps. This lamp is rated for operation from -20C to 40C, which calculates out to -4F to 104F. Operation of the lamp at lower temperatures may result in undesireable startup or performance issues. While LED's typically love the cold, I would not be able to recommend using this lamp in severe conditions like -40 degrees F.

LED lamps are rated by hours of operation, this particular lamps is rated for 25,000 hours of life and is warranted for five full years.
In any case, the operational life of the LED lamp far exceeds any other lamp sources on the market.
Considerably less watts, and longer life means a tremendous return on your investment in LED lamps.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Do the job and do it well I was referred to these bulbs by a friend who has been using them for a long time now. I used them to replace outdoor security bulbs and am impressed with how they immediately illuminate and do so quite brightly. They provide a light that is easier to distinguish objects at night. I also look forward to saving on my electric bill, given their energy efficiency. November 20, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Flood light?? I brought this for our kitchen light since this light is used often, and wanted light right away, not "wait for it to warm up" type. We placed 3 of them in our fixture, and turned them on.... We were both speechless.... The lighting was not "flooded" out. more of a spot light.. I double checked the box to be sure I got "Flood light" and it did say flood.. I returned one, and dig in back for another box and same results when I brought it home.. Also with this spot like light, it made the kitchen darker! We returned all 3 of them, and put the CFL that we had already at home. I love the ideal of the LED, but this let us down. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor performance and durability We bought this bulb at our local Home Depot in June 2011. It's now November and we just returned it after it failed. From the beginning, the light displayed flickering - not terrible, but annoying. About 2 weeks ago, the light started intermittently failing to turn on. Finally, a couple of days ago it simply died. After removing the bulb, I noticed a brown spot roughly the size of a dime on the base. It appears that the electronics in the base overheated and failed. We returned the bulb to HD yesterday, and the gal at the service desk said she sees one of these returned "almost every day". So much for the 25,000 hours of bulb life. We didn't even get 1,000 hours out of this bulb. At least the return to HD was painless, and we have our money back. November 26, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great for a Flashlight! Just purchased this light at the local home depot and installed it. I'm now removing and putting the old indoor flood back because this will be going back to the store. Horrible! This bulb does not disperse light at all. It has a very directed beam similar to a flashlight. The color reminds me of something you would see in an operating room, very blue and not warm at all. Save your money and buy more incandescents while you still can. I'm going to give these LED's some more time to perfect them and come down in price. So far not impressed. February 20, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent I bought 3 of this EcoSmart PAR30 15-watt LED light for my "photo wall" in our family room. I was very pleased that it is a very bright, spot lighting, bulb, excellent for my application. The photos show brillingtly. More importantly, it is super energy saving: 15 watts for equivalent of 90 watts with light output of 1,100 lumens! Best of all, I can leave them on, without my wife turning the lights off all the time to save energy. It is expensive, but comparing to the expensive track lighting, it is an excellent choice. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent for outdoor flood At 73 lumens per watt. This bulb is very efficient and bright. I mounted four of them yesterday with RAB Stealth motion sensors. Two at one story high and two at 2 stories high. The higher bulbs light up a large swath of my yard while the lower bulbs have a somewhat narrow illumination channel but still excellent. The 5000k listed color is indeed 5000k. I have had good luck with EcoSmart LEDs unlike LED's made in China. I have had issues with LEDs made in China. They begin to dim prematurely (2 years). Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lights Great -- Price High We needed bright light for the track lighting on the ceiling of our new library. We put tracks on all four sides of the room to light the bookshelves, for reading and using the computer in the room. We are using 7 fixtures and these bulbs. Heat generation in the room was a real issue so we decided to use LED bulbs, instead of incandescent or CFL. These LED lights are perfect. Bright light which is great for reading and lighting the shelves. Little or no heat build up. I have no complaints, but my wife says she can hear a slight hum out of some of the lights. I tried a different 90 watt equivalent LED bulb that did not provide as much light as these. That bulb is being used elsewhere in the house where bright light is not as critical. It will be nice when the price of these bulbs starts to come down because LED seems to be the way to go, all things considered. August 28, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bright LED replacement for PAR30 flood lights I bought one of these last week at my local store to see how it would work out. I choose this one as it gives off much more light (1100 lumens) than similar CFL bulbs that I might choose. For reference the 14-15 watt CFL bulbs I saw were rated at 600-700 lumens. I would call the color "daylight" as it appears very similar to the color impression you have outside in the sun. It seems "colder" than ordinary incandescent bulbs, which are way on the yellow side. With this bulb, whites appear white rather than yellowish. It is a little surprising at first, but our eyes got used to it within a day and I am pleased with the more daylight-like lighting now. The unit itself feels solid and hefty - like you bought a solid metal light bulb! The box says it has a 5 year warranty. Anyway I liked it, and my wife suggested we get some more, so I already bought 2 more. July 17, 2011
