Customer Reviews

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by overall good bulb updated to these CFL bulbs when my incandescent ones blew out. took a while to find a compatible bulb so I finally ordered these online. they work well, give off a nice clean white light, similar to a traditional bulb, not blue-cast like some other CFL. for 40W equivalent they are brighter than the bulbs they replaced, not quite 60W, more like a 50W. the bulbs are in a open receptacle and they look good, you cannot tell they are CFL, the frosted housing covers the coil well but they are about 1/4 longer then the incandescents I replaced. lastly the only "issue" is that they are quick to start but not to reach full brightness. this means they instantly turn on but at a dimmed capacity, it takes about 30 seconds for the bulbs to reach maximum brightness. overall quite happy October 18, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value I bought to use for my bedside lamp. Works great no complaints. December 18, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your money The only reason I gave it a 1 is because I couldn't give it a ZERO. I wanted more light so I bought three of these 40W LEDs to replace three 25W incandesent bulbs. I now have three 40W, LEDs, 120W total. Replacing three 25W, total of 75 W and the new LED's are not as birght as the old ones. I spent $20+ for nothing. August 20, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by One of four quit working within 2 weeks. Ordered four for my daughter's room and one quit working within two weeks. Remaining bulbs still working. October 29, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great brightness, doesn't produce heat, works well This is a great bulb for a bathroom light fixture, bright enough for the wife to put on makeup, remains cool, and energy efficient. Bulbs are very costly for a six light fixture although the standard bulbs created too much heat. November 6, 2012
