I purchased these EcoSmart LED bulbs for the two light fixtures on my front porch. So far I've replaced about 25 bulbs in and around my home with LED bulbs. I prefer another brand but went with these mainly due to their smaller size. These EcoSmart bulbs have the smallest footprint for this type of bulb which was needed due to the size of the light fixtures. The package states these bulbs are for indoor use but I think they will be fine as long as they don't get wet. The soft white light of these LEDs are just like incandescent bulbs. For 20 watts of power I now get the same (if not more) light than I use to get for 160 watts. How can you not love that.

These LED's are being used to replace about 6 incandescent bulbs that point up on my ceiling fan and they are noticeably brighter than the previous ones I could install due to the Power (watt) restrictions of the fan from the manufacturer. Basically due to the advances in LED Bulb tech you can now install a brighter bulb that uses less power than what you previously used, save money, and get more lighting.
Oh, and they are great dimming bulbs too!

This is an energy efficient LED chandelier bulb. Suggested as 40 watt equivalent but easily as bright as a 60 watt incandescent.
It is fairly small compared to competing LED chandelier bulbs but still larger than the incandescent equal. This may be a concern in various fixtures with regard to the bulb fitting and/ or showing.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by RR These are not accurate on color or brightness
We have two chandeliers near each other, the second just put up and the other had the 25 watt equivalent in soft white from the same company; these new ones were supposed to be brighter 40 watt equivalent bulbs and I bought enough for both chandeliers. They are far more yellow and definitely nowhere near as bright. We are returning them. Really annoyed

Worked fine for a couple of months on a rotary dimmer. Now the 3 bulbs flicker during each use no matter if the dimmer is in the full on position or not.
Waste of money. I replaced them with incandescents. I was really hoping these would work out as this is the last fixture in my house with incandescents.

These bulbs work great. The distribution of the light seems much more even than other LED lights that I've tested before. They also appear to work well with my existing dimmer switches.
One thing I wanted to point out was how these worked with my Hampton Bay ceiling fan with remote control. Initially I thought they were defective. When you screw in the first bulb, it would turn on, even though the light "switch" was actually off. Screwing in the second bulb would make the first bulb become more dim, but both bulbs would still have a faint glow despite the light being off. Only upon screwing in all 3 bulbs did they fully shut off until the light was switched on.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Brian Looks like incandescent, , 6 month payback
Was hoping for more of a unique to LED sparkly effect. Even though a little pricey, can not complain since about a six month payback on electric savings in our outdoor fixture on every night at 10cents/kwhr.

As an LED Lighting Engineer I am critical of everything concerning LEDs. These LED Candelabra bulbs are excellent. I installed them in five outside lanterns on our front porch, emit garage door and a walk through door. The light they emit is uniform, bright and the right color temperature for an outside application or and some inside applications. You should be aware, however, they don't distribute light exactly like an incandescent so be sure to try one in your fixture before buying a gaggle of them. While these are advertised as dimmable I did not try that feature so I can't comment on it.
