What you save in electricity will be lot 10 times in the cost of the product. Chinese products are now to the point where they are worthless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not last 7 years I will be looking into other options. Some of the bulbs work intermittently but others burned out before the 7 year warranty. Had better luck with regular incandescent. IMO, not worth the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 6 out of 6 dead in a year My mother purchased 3 packages of these bulbs (so 6 bulbs total). I can confirm that they take about 2 minutes in 90F degree weather to "warm up" to full brightness (almost 5 minutes in colder weather). Prior to warming up, you're looking at about the equivalent brightness of a 15 watt incandescent bulb (a real treat when you walk into a room to grab something quickly and can't see anything for 2 minutes). The last two just died, with the first ones dying a mere 3 months after use. I can accept one or two dying as statistically flawed outliers, but 6 out of 6? No, these bulbs are manufactured poorly. If you are thinking of buying these because of their attractive price, don't. I'll level with you, I hate CFL bulbs. The only ones that I've found halfway decent are much more expensive, to the point that you might as well go with LED. LED's last longer, save more power, and are much much closer to the old incandescent bulbs. I replaced the bulbs with Cree 60w LED (Home Depot Store SKU # 1000003071) for about 7 dollars a bulb and love them. More expensive than these bulbs, but no more expensive than a good CFL bulb. So to summarize: tl;dr: -Bulbs take about 2 (warm weather) to 5 (cold weather) minutes to reach full brightness. 15W incandescent equivalent brightness until then. -6 out of 6 bulbs died between 3 and 12 months. -Not worth the price... incandescent bulbs were more reliable. -Get a CREE LED bulb instead. No "warm up" time and about as expensive as a good CFL but uses less power. -If you insist on rolling the dice and buying these, keep the packaging and receipt. I'm 90% sure the warranty is pointless, and not worth it if you have to mail the bulbs back at your own expense.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst CFL bulb I have TRIED to use Very temperamental until their complete failure. Often had to tap on bulb for it to energize. While they still worked, they start out very dim until they warmed up. Both bulbs in the package have now failed many many hours before their rated life. Not a good value at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Short life I got longer life out of my old incandescent bulbs. Not worth the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is garbage. Burnt out in less than 1 year. Dont buy this junk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor choice Have had these bulbs in my bathroom for just over a year, there are three lights in the fixture. All three have failed less than 1500 hours. That means that you’ll need 6 bulbs to go 8000 hours so this bulb will cost you 2.5 times more to operate for 8000 hours. Not to mention that you’re putting 6 times more mercury in landfills. IF ECOSMART did their reliability testing correctly then three bulbs shouldn’t have failed in this time frame, just points to poor quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy Package says they are to last seven days. In fact, in one year, five of the eight we bought have gone bad. They are being used in a fixture indicated on the package that they are to work in. Bought many different lights but these are with out question, the worst of the worst.
