Customer Reviews

Rated 1.3 out of 5 by 18 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not last 7 years I will be looking into other options. Some of the bulbs work intermittently but others burned out before the 7 year warranty. Had better luck with regular incandescent. IMO, not worth the money. July 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't buy Package says they are to last seven days. In fact, in one year, five of the eight we bought have gone bad. They are being used in a fixture indicated on the package that they are to work in. Bought many different lights but these are with out question, the worst of the worst. August 24, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do Not Purchase Purchased four of these bulbs and 2 of the four burnt out in 6 months. Tried calling the Ecosmart customer service number and it is a non working number. Long lasting? Absolutely not. August 17, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by poor choice Have had these bulbs in my bathroom for just over a year, there are three lights in the fixture. All three have failed less than 1500 hours. That means that you’ll need 6 bulbs to go 8000 hours so this bulb will cost you 2.5 times more to operate for 8000 hours. Not to mention that you’re putting 6 times more mercury in landfills. IF ECOSMART did their reliability testing correctly then three bulbs shouldn’t have failed in this time frame, just points to poor quality. November 14, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by They do not last. Burn out too soon Do NOT buy. I purchased 2 and they both burned out too soon. Cheap light bulbs. September 27, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst CFL bulb I have TRIED to use Very temperamental until their complete failure. Often had to tap on bulb for it to energize. While they still worked, they start out very dim until they warmed up. Both bulbs in the package have now failed many many hours before their rated life. Not a good value at all. December 9, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do Not Last This is my first ever review and as stated in the other reviews these bulbs last about a year. I have them in the kitchen ceiling fan and and could not remember where I bought them from. After reading reviews I had to state how poorly they lasted. Will now look to change them and will check with fan April 30, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Currently getting a replacement for 4 9W Bulbs 2 purchased under the EcoSmart name, and 2 named n:vision, ALL 4 burned out in less than 12 months. I don't mind paying a little more for something that outlasts "regular" energy-wasting bulbs, but when it makes me DRIVE to Home Depot to purchase replacements, I wonder how "green" this product really is...
