These bulbs will work with Lutron dimmable switch under certain conditions. I got 3 to install in 3 fixtures on the same dimmable switch. After they were on for 10 to 15 minutes they would start flickering, and would not dim. So I decided to take them out and replace them with the original MR16. For some strange reason after I removed and replaced the first in the series they stopped flickering and as long as I had 1 regular MR16 in they work fine. I could even dim them. I don’t know how to explain it but they do work although I have found that you can get LED MR16's for half the price at other online stores.

After installing all the bulbs, they all started to go out. I spent so much money on the electrician trying to figure out what was wrong because we never dreamed the entire batch of bulbs could be defective. In the end, we finally determined it was the bulbs. I returned them and got a refund, but not before it cost me a lot of money figuring out the problem.

This bulb is very bright, and at 3000k is a whiter light than a normal incandescent bulb. It burns 8 watts, yet gives off the equivalent of 50 watts at 600 lumens, and is dimmable. It is UL listed, and suitable for use in damp locations. However, this bulb should not be installed in a totally enclosed fixture due to heat generation. This bulb is not light-weight plastic, and seems to be well made.
