Cheaper in the local HD store than online. I just installed 10 of these LED lights in a kitchen remodel to replace old T-8 fluorescent light fixtures. I installed them in the Halo H750RICAT 6" LED cans. Perfect fit. They look good when turned off, and great when turned on. I prefer this GU24 base model to the Edison base model. I also installed 8 of the 4" version of these lights in other areas, and they are just as good. They aren't cheap, but with no heat generation and much nicer light than the fluorescents, they are worth it to me. Tons of light and only ~100 watts total. I have not installed the dimmer yet, so I can't swear how well they dim. At this point, I don't care!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by TechRightGuy Absolutely amazing. Bright, with great dimming.
These lights finally deliver on the promise that LEDs have always had, but now at a completely reasonable price. I have tried every dimmable fluorescent floodlight made, and every one of them suffers from flicker, pathetically little dimming, and incredibly premature death -- way, way less than the 8000 hours promised. More like 1000.
These LEDs provide light that looks *exactly* like incandescent, in color temperature, and CRI. They dim low enough to have a soft, night-light glow. I was worried that the 575 lumen output would not be enough to replace the 900 lumen fluorescents I had. They are brighter! I guess the dimmable CFLs are over-rated. I am so done with CFL. I bought 4 of these, and plan to buy 27 more for every high-hat in my house. Installation was about 2 minutes each.

The best thing about this light is the hard to find light color which is 2700K in a Title 24 light. This gives off a nice warm light, more on the incandescent side than the florescent. It's easy to remove and adjust, though the pin style base does not fit the Halo cans sold at HD and wiring modification is required. The light comes with a kit to convert to the pin style, but the connectors supplied are not very good. I found that cutting the can wires and connecting to the converter with wire nuts works much better and feels more secure.

I purchased two nights ago about 30 of these EcoSmart LED highhats w/ the ring attached. They are simple to install. I did my whole house in one evening. They run cool and prevent escaping air from flowing into attic space. They seem to help keep the whole house cooler as the A/C unit is probably working a lot less and more efficiently. As far as the light...WOW...they are brighter than the incandescent lights they replaced (65W bulbs). These use 85% less power than the old bulbs. They are a better choice than CFL's (compact florescent lights) as there is NO mercury and no lag time when turned on...meaning, they work just like a regular bulb. The only thing I would recommend is to use the LED light dimmers recommended if you are going to be dimming these. I currently have Lutron Maestro dimmers but switched upon recommendation and a little research online. I also got a great price compared to the shelf price...list was $49.97 and I picked them up for $29.97 each (price match with a Home Depot out of state running a sale). Saved me over $600 right at the start. In a couple of years, the federal regulations are going to be that nobody will be using incandescent bulbs anymore...the way I look at it is I'm already converted and good to go.

I've installed 16 of these so far and they are hands down the best light bulbs I've ever owned. Once I have a ladder in place, they take just 30 seconds to install, and produce a warm, bright light that the toughest judge in the world, my wife, loves. At $25/bulb, they're not cheap, but I've cut my overall installed wattage by 80%, and instead of running almost 500 watts when the kitchen lights are on, I'm down to just 84. Incredible.
