60W Equivalent Daylight (5000K) A19 CFL Light Bulb (2-Pack) is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from True color daylight without the heat The only reason I gave these 4 stars is because they are a little bit expensive (so they better last) and take a little time to get to full glow, but less than a minute. What I LOVE is that they are not that nasty jaundice yellow of some compact spirals and incandescent, they're a true soft daylight color, so things look real and natural. ALSO, they do not get hot, so they're ideal for task lighting and where we have them, in pendants over the kitchen island, so you don't end up sweating over food prep. Lastly, they diffusing glass over the spiral makes them so much nicer to look at and evens out where the light is thrown. So, yes, a bit too expensive, but a lot of advantages. These will be my go-to replacements on hand for task & decor lighting now, but a bit expensive to replace all burnt out's unfortunately.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Short Life Span - Poor Value! As another reviewer said, these bulbs are slow to light up, but what is worse is that they last 1/4 of the 7 year warranty time. Two of 3 bulbs I purchased just died and they were only a year old with infrequent use (all were in the same fixture). Of course their warranty requires returning the bulbs to the manufacturer, which is obviously more than the expense of buying new bulbs. I recommend buying a better brand. These ecosmart bulbs will cost you much more in the end due to frequent replacement. The only good thing I can say is that their shape makes them look like a standard incandescent bulb, which is useful in fixtures where the bulb is seen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bright White Bulb But... I purchased this two pack of bulbs for my kitchen recessed lightening mainly for its enclosed, non spiral shape. When initially turned on, its very dull, almost grey, it takes about a minute to come to full brightness. When it finally does reach max brightness, there is a blue white tint to it, too harsh even for the kitchen area. Returning it, even without the packaging, was easy, no questions, no problems.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good light bulb but bad quality I installed 12 of this Ecosmart bulbs in the bathrooms when I moved in a new house. After two years of lightly use, 4 of them stopped working. Bad quality. Excellent 5000K light. It takes about one minute to get full light. Now I use G25 LED bulbs in the bathrooms and they are much better in every aspect except price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor light, excessive warm up time Light provided by the CFL is significantly less than equivalent incandescent bulb. The bulb takes time to warm up for maximum light. I installed these in a 1/2 bath and they are nearly useless. Your done using the bathroom before the bulb is warmed up and light provided by 2 60W equivalent bulbs isn't sufficient for a 5'x7' room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright lights I love these lightbulbs. I replaced two of the lightbulbs in my bathroom, which was never light enough. After I put these in , well you almost need to wear sunglasses. I love them! I am glad I got this prompt for a review because I could not remember what type of lightbulbs I bought and wanted to buy two more. Now I know. Thanks Home Depot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does not last 7 years as advertised We purchased a few dozen of these bulbs for our new home we had built in Florida just 2 years ago. They had not been in use for the first 1-1/2 years as we hadn't even moved into the house until we sold our original home up north. Since we moved into the house they are starting to burn out after only 3 months of use. Only 2 years into a 7 year warranty which will cost more to send back to the manufacturer than we originally paid for the bulbs. Will not purchase any of them again.
