Bought this item for the office. Lasted not even 6 month. Would not recommend until the technology or quality gets better.

Just a normal led light bulb for any non-dimmable lamp, very nice cool white brightness, priced appropriately.

Like most everyone else I have seen a bazillion ads about transitioning to LED bulbs. And so when the Bathroom vanity lights needed to be replaced I switched to these. I did not purchase the higher priced brand. I asked about this brand from a customer and a store employee who both use them and they seemed happy with it. So I followed suit. I prefer the brightness and hue of daylight rated bulbs for things like the bathroom and reading. So far so good. The real test will come in how long they last. If they indeed have the long life indicated on the packaging then the overall rating will be upgraded to EXCELLENT.

I had a another energy efficient bulb that burnt out after only about 6 months and took it back to Home Depot. They no longer carried the kind I had purchased, but let me replace it with on of these new LED bulbs. These LED lights are so much better than the old style and add so much light to my dark kitchen. I chose the natural daylight type not the warm light. They put out light at the higher end of the spectrum which works fine for me and my husband. I can actually read the fine print and work on small objects at the kitchen counter. I plan to buy more for my bathrooms, too.

these are the best light bulbs every they are so bright and amaing, we put these in our front patio lights and we live in an area with no street lights ir anything and these light up aour whole front porch and half of the front area of our grass. we will be buying more for around our house. very impressed with their perormance, and weve had them more then a month now and we have our outside lights on all night and the energy bill actually went down 10 dollars, these bulbs do not get hot at all. i would deffinately recommend these to anyone and i already have.

The advent of lighting technologies in other forms than incandescent has presented a dilemma for the consumer. Which bulb is right for the job at hand. Incandescent, Halogen, LED, and CFL are the common choices, leaving exotics to the professionals.
Lumens ( the unit of luminous flux, equal to the luminous flux emitted in a unit solid angle by a point source of one candle intensity.) or basically more lumens more light.
Halogens are most akin to incandescent harsh crisp lighting, LED are the next least harsh light, but still directional and of course the CFL are omni-dtrectional and least harsh, least defined of for rays.
The LEDs I choose were for hallway use not a lot of light required just enough.
They worked fine and lowered energy cost increased lumens at lower watts.

I updated three fixtures and put these bulbs in. I had three single bulb fixtures, now three two bulb fixtures, from 75 watt regular bulbs to 60 watt equivalent LEDs in a dark hallway. Well it is not dark anymore. Great bright bulbs. Way brighter and from 225 watts of usage to a total of 60 watts usage. No brainer here!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by alexsian significanlty brighter white than the 60w CFL's they replaced!
i've had cfl's in my house for decades, so it took me a long time to convince myself to try LED's because they have been expensive for a while. this 2-pack finally brought the price to a point where i was willing to try them, and man am i sure glad i did! as i write this review its the beginning of summer... my cfl's would take a while to warm up to full brightness in the winter... I suspect that these LEDs will not have that same problem, and if I'm right, I will be replacing all my CFL's with LED this winter!
