I wouldn't say thst I'm in love with these CFLs, but it's obvious that every single person reviewing is using a standard dimmer with these bulbs which doesn't work. You need to use a CFL specific dimmer which is more expensive, but they work quite well. I have about 2 dozen of these lights in my house and they all work fine. The dimmable range is slightly less than an incandescent and it takes about 20 seconds to get to full brightness, but that's the price of energy saving at this time and frankly we don't even notice it anymore.

Bought these bulbs with the anticipation of them being "dimmable". Complete waste of time and money. Even with a CFL Dimmer, they only dim aboubt 10-15%, after that they shut off. Not worth buying

These don't last. Bought a two pack and both bulbs lasted no longer than 2 months. Also they don't dim properly. The longer they are on the lower you can set the dimmer before you have strobe lights. I even changed the dimmer out for a dimmer made for CFL's. Won't buy this brand again, doesn't save any money when they last a lot shorter than the traditional incandescent. Also, I don't see where I save much anyway since I leave CFL's on all day because I can't stand the long warm up period for full brightness.

I purchased twelve of these lights. They fight nicely in my recessed light fixtures. They do take some time to get to full brightness (limitation of CFL) but they're dimmable and I don't want them at full brightness anyway. That's the reason I bought dimmable CFL. They obviously can't dim all the way down to 1%. From 100% brightness, I can dim these down to about 35%. Anything lower than 35% and the lights will go out. I typically keep the dimmer at the 50% level. It saves $$ and the light in the room is at a comfortable level.

I am using a CFL dimmer switch with these bulbs, but the light barely dims. I'd say it goes from 100% to maybe 90%.
Terrible "dimmable" bulb!
