I took the bulb out of a 1930's floor lamp and was shocked how huge it was. Not only was the glass bulb part huge but the base or screw in part was obviously larger than any bulb I have ever replaced.
Do you sell the CFL version or cheap burning bulbs in a size for this old floor lamp?

Answer:
The largest base we manufacture is the E26, or Standard Edison-type base. It is approximately 1" (2.5cm) in diameter at the widest point.

Rated 2.2 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Burnt out in 6 months I bought these about 1 year ago and had to take them back to the store about 6 months ago since they all burnt out. I decided to try another box since I thought maybe those were just defective. Big mistake, now a year later all of those light bulbs have since burnt out as well. Will return and get my money back! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dimmable? Would not recommend these. Poor quality. Dimmable about to half and then cut off. Returned these and purchased LEDs. Much happier with the LEDS! May 7, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor lighting product I used this light infrequently and it burned out in less than 3 years. Definitely not worth the price. March 8, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 8000 hour claim not met Box claims 8000 hours, that is 3 years, assuming 8hrs/ day. About half will last that long, the others will die within 1 year. January 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Burnout Rate I have recess lighting throughout my entire house, more than 30 high hats, and installed these bulbs in almost every room apprx two years ago. It was a significant financial commitment that I now regret. Some bulbs burnt out within 30 days and others within a few months. It seems like a never ending cycle of periodic bulb replacement every few months. I have a bag full of these bulbs to return today. I'm very frustrated and am anxious to find a better quality bulb. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE LIGHT BULBS. December 10, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great, but . . . Just had our kitchen re-done. We have 5 recessed fixtures in the ceiling. We wanted dimmable fluorescent bulbs. We went with bright white because all the other bulbs made our new honey maple cabinets look very yellow. These have a nice, clean light. They only dim about 1/3-1/2 of range before they go out. We can live with that. However, after about 1 week one bulb just started flickering and then it went out. It will go back to HD. December 5, 2010
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth the price They are supposed to last 7 years. They are starting to all burn out after 2-3 years. The other issue is that it takes about 5 minutes to warm up in the morning, so it is like you only have half the amount of brightness for about 5 minutes. Not at all what I expected especially after paying twice as much for each light compared to old regular lights. August 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Product works well, have bought many things from Home Depot and for the most part have had excellent results. Good light bulb, ease of ordering. Home Depot is the place where I purchase all needed items for the Church. March 4, 2014
