Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SLADBM203 Excellent LED Light Fixtures
I have 14 of the dimmable Ecosmart LED fixtures in my home. Each has a 5000 degree Kelvin color temperature, which produces a white light that resembles daylight indoors. They are so much better than those that have the 2700 degree color temperature. The fixture was used to replace the original canister style lamp fixtures that used 75 watt flood lamps. The LED fixtures are much easier on one's eyes when reading in this environment.
The ease of installment of the LED fixture into the canister space is very easy requiring less that 3 minutes from start to finish. The finished installation is shown in the photo below, in which the LED fixture was dimmed to about 20 percent of high beam light so that the beauty of the fixture can be clearly observed. These Ecosmart fixtures have significantly improved the lighting in our home. They are highly recommended for ceiling lights in any décor.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by gregt590 Works & looks great, bright white light that is very dimmable
My wife and I really like the daylight color (50K) and energy savings of the new LED lights, so when we had a major renovation done for our home, our contractor recommended these sealed LED lights for the ceiling cans which he found in 50K daylight color. We are installing 20 of them. They look and work great and are very dimmable from pretty dim to bright white light. Price is good for LED lighting which is expected to continue to come down. We can definitely recommend them.

Bought around 15 of these down lights for a basement remodel about 2 years ago. Have had problems with almost half the lights doing a subtle flickering both on dimmer switch and without dimmer switch. Problem seems to come and go. I have returned a few lights a year ago and 4 more today, only to come home and find another bulb flickering....arghh. Bought 2 years ago for $40, can't find the receipt, so I am getting the current price of $18 for store credit...arghh..
On a positive note, the bulbs do dim nicely. However, the replacement lights I exchanged for today buzz on the existing dimmer...argghhh. I really want to embrace LED technology but manufacturers are not making this easy. Still can't find what dimmer will work with these bulbs.
Wanted the 5000k "daylight" to brighten up the basement cave feel. Would not recommend, they are too blue. Would be good for an operating room.
I bought 4 Philips (model #800037) to try in my bedroom, I gave up on ecosmarts. We'll see how it goes. It's the wild west out there when it comes to LED's. Do your homework before you buy. I've wasted too much time with these crummy lights.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Charles Brighter & more beautiful lighting for one-seventh the wattage
We replaced the bulbs in 14 can lights in one room with these LED lights. We first just replaced some of them, to see how we liked the new LED lights. These LED lights put out a much more beautiful and brighter whiter light than the yellowish light we were getting from our 65 watt lights that were at the other end of the room, so we quickly replaced all 14 & have been very happy with them. For the customer that had to return 3 out of 10 after just a few days, I would guess that you have the old style dimmer that is not designed for LED lights, and that damaged the LED lights. You need to do the quick and easy replacement of the dimmer to one that is designed to be used with dimmable LED lights.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by wmsears Started to Flicker after 1 week
I replaced 30 recessed lights in my house with 10 of them being EcoSmart 6 in. 9.5-Watt (65W) Daylight LED Down light Light Bulbs. Of the 10 I have returned 3 due to the light "flickering" after being installed for about 1 week. This represents approximately 3-4 hours of use. The other 7 lights seem to work fine. I expected something more when I saw these lights used CREE LEDs. Not sure if it is the LED drivers or LEDs, but either way I am disappointed. I should note that I had no problem exchanging them at HD and the replacements have worked fine so far.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Getitdone so beautiful!
These aren't cheap but they are so beautiful. It's almost as if holes have been cut in the ceiling and natural sunlight is streaming in. We have 10 cans in our cathedral ceiling and are about half way done replacing the old incandescents with these beauties and the contrast is amazing, especially since we are going from a type that is warm light (a little yellow) to a type that is daylight (bright white). Totally worth investment because of the lower energy cost, lower heat emission, and beauty. They work with our existing dimmer, which is nice because that would be a pain to replace.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Shane Starting to flicker
I have purchased over 30 of theses and after 2 months I already have to replace over 10 flickering ones. Just recently another 3 started to flicker. There's something wrong with these bulbs, I fear the all will eventually start to flicker.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Greenman Careful ... Very bright white light.
Light is super white bright and easy to install. This is the best way to save money because these leds are affordable, I ended up replacing all my ceiling lights.
I had to bedrooms where I was using 2 ceiling lights, after I replaced the first ceiling light I realized that I no longer needed 2 so I cut a new hole in the center of the room and sealed the other 2.
My goal on saving energy is accomplish... I will keep on eye on my bill to measure the kW that I'm saving.
