Customer Questions & Answers

Is it possible to still get this product even though it is discontinued? Is it still stocked in some stores?

Asked by: Kyle
Although that particular SKU may be discontinued, there should be other versions of the same bulb still available. The newest version of the bulb can be found here:

How do I find out about the 5-year warranty I need too file a claim for three bulbs that did not last 6 months much less five years?

Asked by: GiGi
The 5-year limited warranty covers these bulbs that go bad due to normal usage. If they were damaged by outside sources such as power surges, electrical storms, being dropped or knocked out of place, this would void the warranty. If you believe that these bulbs are covered under the warranty and have more questions, you can contact for more information.

Customer Reviews

65W Equivalent Soft White (2700K) BR30 LED Flood Light Bulb is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dimming Range If you are looking for dimming capability you may want to reconsider this light bulb. I replaced incandescent light bulbs with this light bulb. The incandescent light bulbs had a wide range of light out put from full brightness to almost off. These new light bulbs range from full brightness to about 40 or 50% reduced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase! I typically purchased this in a 3-pack for a basement stairwell and hallway where it seems the kids always leave the light on to downstairs. It seems I could never go more than a couple of months with an incadescent light bulb. Seems the EcoSmart bulbs are being discontinued as well. Buy them while you can! I really like the look of these. Doesn't look like a glass ball in the can, doesn't have writing on it, and puts out a great color. I purchased the par20 3000K for outside and the BR30 3000K for outside and the 2700K for inside. I love all of them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A longer lasting replaceemnt at a good price. My application for thse lights is on a high ceiling which takes a 24 foot ladder to reah the fixtures. So long life in this application is of primary importance to me. So far I have replaced 8 regular flood lights with these LED devices and everybody who notices anything has remarked that they are a bit brighter when set to full intensity. Our application also uses the dimming feature and all eight lamps dim in unison. The reduced power consumption is an added benefit, it lets our dimmer controls run cooler. Installing these bulbs in the fixtures was much easier than installing the previous incandescent lamps because these have a slightly smaller diameter, which leaves more room for my fingers to grip them. They are also lighter than the ones that they replace. Those benefits are important atop a 24 foot ladder.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for my application I'm sure this works fine for what it was intended, but I needed a bulb to fit into a recessed fixture. The plastic casing around this one make it too large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New light of my life These bulbs look great. They are a little different from the incandescent bulbs, which had a more metallic glow. These are softer, and have a wider cast. I chose these for my kitchen, bedroom, and Great room over the cheaper Phillips because they filled the recessed can hole in the ceiling better. I know from previous experience, CFL style spot bulbs looked OK, and also saved on electricity and $, but the CFL style ones I used previously were fragile, and I broke several installing them. These bulbs are sturdy and were easy to install without concern of breaking them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Light Bulbs - Dimmable LED Floods These bulbs are great. They give off minimal heat and respond well to the standard dimmer. I am slowly replacing all the bulbs in the house with LED technology (I don't like compact fluorescent bulbs). These are a good purchase what with their minimal energy draw and long-life.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from money saver Only thing to consider is the receptacle you have and making sure it fits, other LED floods have a large base that won't screw into older fixtures completely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great led bulb Perfect replacement. Dims well with my combo CFL & incandescent 3 way dimmer. just purchased a few weeks ago, so can't speak to the life yet.
