CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 1.6 out of 5 by 32 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by You have to use a CFL dimmer I wouldn't say thst I'm in love with these CFLs, but it's obvious that every single person reviewing is using a standard dimmer with these bulbs which doesn't work. You need to use a CFL specific dimmer which is more expensive, but they work quite well. I have about 2 dozen of these lights in my house and they all work fine. The dimmable range is slightly less than an incandescent and it takes about 20 seconds to get to full brightness, but that's the price of energy saving at this time and frankly we don't even notice it anymore. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent bulbs for the money We built our new house 2yrs ago and put these bulbs in all the recess light fixtures. They dim just fine and give off a very nice soft light. So far none have died. For the price you can't beat Ecosmart. January 31, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by eeeeh eventually cheap bulbs does the trick. a two pack - one lasted a week blew out. They come on - take a few minutes to warm up to full brightness - dimmable barely, before they just turn off. December 9, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by barely dims I am using a CFL dimmer switch with these bulbs, but the light barely dims. I'd say it goes from 100% to maybe 90%. Terrible "dimmable" bulb! May 3, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Waste of Money Bought these bulbs with the anticipation of them being "dimmable". Complete waste of time and money. Even with a CFL Dimmer, they only dim aboubt 10-15%, after that they shut off. Not worth buying November 9, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Awful Dimmable must be a relative term. All on or slightly dimmer. Hardly a dimmable light bulb. Dont bother. March 21, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This so called dim-able bulbs do not dim very well! I have 9 lights in the kitchen on the same circuit, so I decided to switch over to cfl's. When attempting to dim the lights, some of the bulbs turn completely off while others continue to dim. Next time I going to stick with a name brand bulb....these bulbs....NO November 22, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by limited dimmability/poor quality control Bought a couple 2 packs to take place of 4 dimmable incandescent floods in basement. Like others mentioned, the dimmability has very limited range. But quality control from one bulb to another is also poor. Out of 4 in parallel, 2 might light while 1 flashes on/off, and another may not light at all, depending on dim setting. Also 1 went bad altogether within 2 months, though supposedly should last maybe 7 yrs. Prematurely disposed of receipt, otherwise would have returned all to store for mopney back. December 15, 2011
