Customer Reviews

Eco Remote Control for Electric Tankless Water Heaters-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for changing temperature and on/off without having to crawl under the sink! I was picturing a remote like the tv kind, it isn't. It requires a four wire telephone cord and is wired into the unit. BUT as a disabled person - it is great. I plan on getting the wired remote up on the counter after I drill a hole, Until then I have it hanging inside on the cabinet door, It is worth the money if you have a hard time getting down and in under the sink! The heater requires a restart after power failures (a great safety feature) and we lose power a lot here. I would not want to crawl under the sink every time. I installed a dishwasher and wanted high temerature water, But I have grand children and did not want to have too hot of water when they are here. This allows me to change the temperature easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I thought it was wireless, works great simple to use I assumes it was a standard wireless remote control. It uses a phone line for data/com. This surprised me. After putting in the phone line works great, no issues. A nice way to always check the status of the unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Buy Eco 11 Warning for California buyers, don't buy. To meet code it requires 4-2 wiring wiring, copper cost north of 4 dollars a foot. Home Depot sells the heater but not the wire required, you need to special order 500 feet and take it all. That is more than $2K. just for the wire. I only needed 125 feet which was bad enough. Still waiting to finish electrical.
