Purchased this for the garage. The frame is a bit flimsy in that it rocks side to side once assembled. I added two cable cross pieces to stabilize the bench (see picture) and it made it much more stable and now totally functional. The top to the bench is quite thick and a good work surface. The product was not damaged on arrival and was easy to assemble.

Poor quality, after frame was put together, top was bowed and does not allow screws to reach to fasten down. I have weight sitting on the top thinking it would straighten out for 2 weeks and it hasn't. Made from partical board. Not happy for the price paid. And costs too much to ship back.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fletcher Sturdy, easy-to-assemble, great value
This workbench is a great value for the money. Some other reviewers complained about the condition in which they received the bench from the shipper, but mine arrived in excellent shape with all parts accounted for. The box was unGodly heavy but once opened the individual pieces were easy for one person to handle. Assembly was easy - less than an hour - and all the holes lined up! My only comment is that it would have been helpful if there had been pilot/guide holes in the underside of the bench top to help mount the top to the frame squarely. The bench is very stable and the top is more than strong enough to support my vise.

Assembly of the workbench was not smooth because the holes did not line up so some drilling was involved. The top is smooth but the edge is not finished so fabrics catch on the pressed fiberboard. Also the material that the top is made of absorbs EVERYTHING! The first time I put a can of soda on it there was a ring that has never disappeared. And so it goes for anything that has moisture or oils in it. Bear that in mind. The size is wonderful, I have my computer set up with printer and two monitors and keyboard as well as two sewing machines and a lamp with room to spare.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sparky Good Value, add lock washers to make it very stable
I had this item shipped to the local store. It came on a pallet which protected the top slab. Two of the mounting holes for the feet did not quite line up and had to be drilled. By buying a package of 1/4 in split lock washers to use with the supplied bolts made this unit very sturdy. Without the lock washers it would not have been as stable.. I, also, had to drill holes in the two top rails for mounting to the top. The factory holes were in the narrower bottom of the channels, not the wider top as they should have been.

BENCH COMES WITH PARTICLE BOARD TOP LAMINATED WITH MASONITE. ASSEMBLY STRAIGHT FORWARD. I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED TEMPERED MASONITE FOR THE TOP LAMINATION BUT WAS HAPPY IT WASN'T JUST PARTICLE BOARD.
HOWEVER WHEN IT CAME TO PUTTING THE LEG EXTENSIONS ON I WAS OUT OF NUTS AND BOLTS. THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH PROVIDED. GOOD THING i KEEP AN INVENTORY OF OLD HARDWARE.
I'M FINISHING THE TOP WITH POLY AND ADDING 1X2'S AROUND THE EDGES.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by palacios GOOD TABLE FOR AN AFFORDABLE PRICE
it was very difficult to screw in the side bolts to the table due to the screw bit not being able to fit cause the rails, it should be easy access just like the ends, very hard time assembling it due to this.

Easy to assemble, but I would rearrange the steps slightly.
Came with an abundance of parts, almost 2 complete sets of nuts and bolts?! Heavily packaged, although came with 1 cross member slightly deformed. Two people to get it into the car trunk & remove it. Electrical box outlets on top rails need to be filed out to fit a receptacle properly.
