I believe this Edsal product is one of the poorest quality items you can buy from Home Depot. After the item was delivered, I attempted to assemble this product and didn't get very far. The "heavy-duty steel" is not heavy-duty at all, the shelves aren't cut straight so the corners don't come out square, and the holes don't alll line up so you can't even bolt it together. Very bad design and fabrication. Only good part about this product is the plastic bins.

This product is VERY poorly designed. The holes are not cut right and do not align properly. It is a major fight to put it together. We made it work, but it cost us a lot of time, modifications, elbow grease and cussing and it's still not put together right. It is quite flimsy as well. 2 of the plastic bins came cracked. Don't waste your money and sanity on this.

If you want to be in a bad mood for days here you go. The worst shelf unit every to put together. Flimsy and had to tie it up to a solid plastic shelf unit. I refuse to attach this to my walls. Will not stand alone and moving it is a nightmare. Plastic Bins a step up from the Dollar Store Plastic. The idea works but I will never buy another one unless another company has a better design..... NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! ......I will stick with the solid plastic shelves and Buy Triton Bins for Now On

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Revemup Flimsy & Hard to Assemble
The only good thing I can say about this item is that the plastic bins are good. The shelving unit is very flimsy. Assembling the unit was extremely frustrating. The instructions were completely useless. Plus, the manufacturer for some reason folded the metal on the shelves in such a way as to make it almost impossible to pass the short bolts through to the supports. at times I had to drill larger holes and use longer bolts. I like having an organizing unit but this one is not worth the price.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BIGBADBOB This product is very poor quality
After getting over the shock as to the poor quality of this product, i did assemble. The instructions are very much in need of improvement. The metal gauge for this was far too thin. All of the shelves were bent and needed some attention from a hammer to straighten them out. The fit was such that again I had to resort to the use of a hammer. This is the first and last time I will purchase products from this manufacturer. I appears that they do not have any form of quality control.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by unhappy Bins are ok - shelf is poor quality
Instructions are virtually nonexistent. Used online photo, had to remove side braces after installation to install shelves due to lack of clearance. Only top and bottom shelves are screwed to legs. All other shelves must be inserted (beaten) into the removable brackets, The tension causes the shelves to bow upward in the center. The bins only hang down from the shelves when they have weight in them.

This product is horrible! I put it together and under it's own weight, it started to rack and fall apart. Shelving and legs are not strong enough to hold it together. I would return both of the racks I bought if I had not already thrown the boxes away!
