This is a true example of "You get what you pay for." I opened the package and assembled the workbench, not without difficulty.
1. At least 4 to 6 holes where the top stringer connects to the leg assembly had to be drilled out because the welding was off and the holes in the welded sections were misaligned.
2. There were 8 machine screws missing.
3. The flake board (particle board) work surface came through with crumbling corners, and there was a lot of particle board dust in the packaging.
4. The holes on the top cross-members should line up so you can drill the woods screws in through them.
5. Per above...poorly engineered product.
If you're not a professional, and don't need a super terrific workbench, then this is the one for you.
If you intend to do heavy duty work, I'd suggest you invest in a heavy duty workbench, preferably from another manufacturer.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Sandman Very poorly designed workbench
Unable to attach top to frame because holes do not match up. Especially disappointing because this is a US company! Tried to contact manufacturer of this workbench but they never answered. Don't waste your money on this piece of junk

I ordered this bench online. Picked it up at store.
Upon opening I found the table board cracked in the corner and the frame bent in two places.
Terrible packaging and worst handling.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mongomodger Does the job
I had some difficulty driving in the wood screws as there were no starter holes drilled; I got four screws out of 18 in place and gave up, most intense workout I've had in years. Otherwise it's a work bench and it's good at that. Overall I'm pleased with the price, product and service and would recommend it to others.

I purchased the 48 IN. W X 24 IN. D workbench which has double electrical knockouts. I am using the bench in my basement workshop. it is very sturdy and is the perfect size. I plan on purchasing other accompanying segments such as drawer systems and shelves. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who need a high quality, fairly priced workbench.

Good design. Terrible execution. Pre-drilled holes did not align, missing machined bolts and nuts, no lock washers, bent leg members. If you possess no "know how" and are not willing to make what is delivered to you work through hands on modification then this is NOT the product for you.
This is a simple bench that should take 20 minutes to put together with a cordless drill gun, a bit and a wrench. The simplicity was blown up due to the poor machining and lack of alignment allowances at wherever this bench was fabricated.
Coulda been a winner, but.......

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by moonbird Sturdy core bench
The reasons to buy this bench are two:
1. Low cost
2. Sturdy core platform
I really like this bench. It went together easily with a rubber hammer. and is VERY sturdy.
The top is not so good - too thin for real use. The solution is to buy a 2'x4' sheet of 3/4 aspen board (cheap) to use beneath the particle board top. (Have them cut it for you in the store) Glue the particle board to the aspen board (stack everything you can find on the bench to clamp the two top pieces while they dry) and you have a VERY sturdy bench IMHO!! I use mine daily!! The core platform easily takes whatever I dish out.
