The shelves were easy to assemble and provide the sturdiness needed for storage of tools. This is the second set of these shelves we have purchased because of the quality and ease to assemble. If more are needed we would purchase these again.

The shelves are perfect for storage in the basement or garage. The hold almost all size totes and make storage more convenient. Would recommend for those that are organizing either basement or garage....really sturdy.

Pros: sturdy unit as a whole, great price, easy assembly, no bent parts like others had in their reviews
Cons (minor): online only, finished assembly barely off level,
Notes: completely satisfied and will likely get another unit

I have been extremely pleased with my purchases of the 77" x 24" x 72" Edsal storage units. I had hoped my experience with this smaller unit would be similar. It has been a nightmare. One welded end frame was delivered bent. The package was in tact so it must have been sent that way from the factory. Home Depot rep was great and ordered me another end frame (different height though). After trying all combinations of the three end frames and several combos with the beams, I finally accepted that the unit would not sit level and eventually used a 1 x 4 block under one side and a smaller furniture spacer on the other end frame to get the unit closer to level. I am pretty sure the product will last but cannot recommend it based upon my experience.

These shelves are poorly made; mine had multiple manufacturing defects with welds, bent posts and loss of finish. Fit is also an issue. If you don't have the experience and tools to correct for the lack of fit between the shelves and posts don't get these shelves. Assembly with two of us took an hour and we were lucky. The shelving insert is the cheapest particleboard -- we had to replace it with plywood and you will too.

I bought 4 sets of these shelves that measured 20' long
when put side by side.
Assembly was easy once you get the hang of it but you must look over every piece carefully to make sure they are not bent or damaged.
Thats where I ran into problems, there were 2 end pieces that were bent so badly that I could not use them so I had to hook the shelves together ( which you can do) and it worked out fine.
