Looked for an economical shelf to put in laundry room to put crock pot, ice cream churn, large pots and pans, and other big items on. The packaging was good, all parts included plus extra, and nothing was damaged. The instructions were difficult to read as it looks like they copied off the original and its in very fine print. I see many have posted that it was difficult to assemble and it did not go together properly. Follow the instructions and it will. DO NOT TIGHTEN ANYTHING UNTIL INSTRUCTIONS SAY TO DO SO.
I believe this is the main problem people may be having. My twelve year old son and I put this one together in about an hour. AFTER ALL PARTS ARE ON THEN THE BOLTS CAN BE TIGHTENED.

Shelf takes some patience to assemble, with a large number of nuts and bolts. Metal is really thin, but once all braces are fitted and bolts are tightened the resultant unit is very stable. The wide shelves and cheap price were what attracted me.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by George Not exactly heavy duty
This shelf is described as HD which I assume is HEAVY DUTY. The legs appear to be OK but the shelves are really thin gauge. Storing something like a circular saw puts a dent in the shelf. So far the shelves have not failed but I plan to put a 1/4 inch fiber board on the shelves to give it more support.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by roommom Great purchase with a great price!
The reviews I read on this product before purchase made me feel unsure about the quality of this shelf. However, the information I read sounded made everything sound much more difficult than it actually was. It takes a little while to place and tighten all those screws , but you already know that. I had my husband help me , so the unit was fairly easy to assemble with 2 adults holding pieces. I did not take too long and was not difficult which is excellent for what the piece cost. It is an industrial looking piece , but that is what we wanted. We are using as a bookshelf in a kids room. So far, so good. We had to push a few shelves to align with the screw holes , but no major bending. The shelves do lean in a little in the middle, but not a problem yet and the cost is excellent.

Product was hard to put together. Ends were bent and holes were not align.
Became frustrated so I returned the product.

Assembly was ok but all parts were not there and the shelves were not even and had to be re done. The unit was flimsy and just barely stood by itself.

Cheapest shelf I could find. Packaging was poor and corners of the shelving were bent. Assembly was difficult due to bent edges. Trying to get everything level is impossible. Does it hold objects off the ground? Yes, that's about it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Juan Flimsy, weak, can't t even stand on its own
Very misleading. How come instead of being the shelves of solid metal they are are like paper metal?, I realized this when I opened the box, the shelves were all crooked. They don't have enough support pieces for the structure to be erected. The only way I got it to semi work is putting reinforcements that I bought somewhere else and bolt it to the wall. I am assuming that if anybody else can get it to work without the thing collapsing to the ground is: use it only to store extremely light stuff. 500 lb? No way! The "steel" shelf will come crashing down
