Using this in my pantry. Works well for the purpose as it is in a corner. If I were using it without the walls to support it I would want it to have a few more cross braces for support to keep it square

Awkward to assemble, wobbly after assembly, some parts bent and scratched. Wouldn't recommend it.

This is how most shelving should be made. It's all steel, so it's waterproof, fireproof, sun-proof, and very good for moving from one house/business to another. It's well connected, you can bolt all the shelves onto the posts if you wish. It won't fall apart during a move. They are about as lightweight and easy to move as possible, considering their heavy duty commercial capability. These should be in everyone's garage, home, business, and stocked in the Home Depot stores. they might be a little more effort to assemble than some other types of shelving with particle board and rivets, but it's well worth the small extra effort. Also the shelves are only 1.25" inches thick, so they save vertical space, compared with the rivet style shelves which are closer to 2.25" thick. Buy these shelves. Keep them in production. Support the manufacturer. You will like these shelves.

The unit had some damage--cosmetic, not structural-- and since I needed to use it immediately, I didn't ask for an exchange.
The unit arrived without one of the required braces. A trip to the Tucson store (60+ unnecessary miles) found a substitute part that didn't fit well, but is doing the job.
Instructions to assemble were adequate, but there were several warnings about not overloading the shelves. Nowhere in the instructions does it give any idea of how much each shelf will carry. For food storage purposes, It seems to me that there should be at least one more shelf--two would be better, then shelf overload wouldn't be a problem..

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by carnini Sturdy once setup and a great price.
We where looking for a shelving unit that fit in a tight spot and also was not very deep but wide enough. This fit the bill very well. The setup is bad, the directions really are not well documented so it takes longer to get it all assembled. The shelves have to be really pounded into place, so there is really no adjusting on a whim.
Once setup it is sturdy though I think it would have been nice with 2 sets of cross braces.
As some other reviewers have said, it would have been nice to have another shelf.

Good sturdy shelving, not too hard to assemble. Ordered on line, came out just as I expected.

We purchased 4 units for a storage closet. Boxed well, nicely finished, but a bit difficult to put together. Took more time than anticipated as holes do not all align perfectly. One unit was short one key shelf support hook. So we had to devise a work around with extra bolts/screws. A good value overall.
