Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Green lighting Careful. In my haste in finding a replacement hallway light, I chose one of the "green" lighting fixtures. Comes complete with the mercury lightbulbs--must use both or you get uneven lighting and equal to two, 75 watt bulbs no less! Geez, I wasn't trying to perform surgery in the hallway. Stark lighting to say the least. Style of the fixture is fine, but there's no way one of those green lighting companies will make me conform. After all, there's a giant warning on the outside of the box about mercury! The problem with a lot of this green stuff...no one thinks about future outcome and/or added problems and most importantly: expense. It looks like we're saving the planet though and that's all that counts, right? This goes back to the store asap. August 1, 2011
