Rated 1 out of 5Â by DIYER Beware! After a few months the white coating inside glass fades and comes off
Fixture looks great in our new kitchen however, after several months and having to replace 1-2 light bulbs we noticed that there were streaks that were visible from the outside the glass (not pretty). Apparently, the white coating inside the glass comes off like dust at the touch while using the included bulb removal/installing tool. One way to prevent this from happening would be to be extra careful and not touch the inner glass although thats pretty hard even with a super steady hand (lets not forget that we're most likely reaching up to the ceiling to replace the bulb).
Contacted the manufacturer (EGLO) and made them aware of the defect but because it was out of warrenty they can only offer to SELL the replacement part. If you purchase fixture, I strongly suggest you buy 1-2 spare glass parts.
There's two glass replacement part #'s for the same identical part.

We bought this light for our small kitchen which had terrible lighting before. It was pretty easy to install once we got going, you definitely need two people-it's a little heavy for one person to install alone. This gives off so much light and looks great! Definitely recommend to anyone looking to light every corner of a room.
