I purchased this cooktop as part of an appliance package for a kitchen remodel. Within 2 1/2 months I had to have the complete electronic portion replaced due to a "communication error" between the two boards. Besides having to wait for a service visit, it was a 3 week wait for the replacement part, leaving me without a cooktop for almost 4 weeks.

My home has had this cooktop for 2 years. After 2 years the induction cooktop does not work correctly, PCB board is burnt, and emits electrical burning smell (not safe). This is not covered under warranty and service team cost would be more than 50% of the purchase price.
DON"T BUY ANY ELECTROLUX INDUCTION COOKTOP. Stick with electrical or gas.
I will never purchase ANY electrolux product again based on them not standing behind their product and requiring me to wait over 3 weeks to fix their product. UNACCEPTABLE HOW DO I COOK?
Also the touch button do not react well (reduce the score for features)

Functionally, I give it 5-Stars, but overall it loses a point for the ergonomics. Burners heat up fast, the large range of temperature settings are great, and the triple burner is awesome. I only have 2 complaints: layout of the burners and sensitivity of the controls. It is awkward having both small burners in the back. It is hard to get to them when you have two large pots on the large front burners. The burners are also a little too close together. The controls on the front are very convenient, but they are rather sensitive. When you open a pot of boiling water and the condensation drips off the lid onto the control area, the controls get goofy and usually shut off. Same is true if you drip something on that area and try to wipe it off with a damp rag.

Horrible design for practicality. The heat radiating from the large burner is sufficient to automatically raise/lower/turn off the burner. Electrolux claims this is how it is intended to function. Boiling water from a pot of pasta or egg poacher that may splash out of the pot, turns off the burner. Any water standing near the touch controls for more than a few seconds causes an E11 error and turns off the cooktop. In each case, turning the cooktop back on results in burning your fingers. This cooktop is a nightmare. Elextrolux claims that it functions as intended. The issues described above are referred to in the owners manual as known features of the cooktop. Electrolux? Never again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cook No space for more than 2 kettles.
Bought about month ago and do not like at all. It would be fine if you did not do much cooking but I cook for a family and you can basically only use 2 kettles at a time. So if that is what you do, then this is the cooktop for you, not me.

Bought this about a month ago and we pleased so far. One small issue with an E11 error code but was corrected promptly with quick call to Electrolux.

Very happy with my purchase. The cooktop installed easily and when I turned it on I was blown away by the speed and intensity of the heat. My old cooktop was over 16 years old as I had become used to mediocrity. Love the black color and easy controls.
