I am overall very pleased with this refrigerator. I would have been happier if my kitchen could accommodate a full-sized one, but I needed the counter depth. So it is a little smaller than I would have liked, but we will adapt. I am still getting used to the features, but like the door space and the drawers, with their ability to adjust the humidity. We do not use the icemaker in the freezer so can't comment on that. The freezer drawer is a little tricky, but not a serious problem. Cannot comment on energy, since I have had it for less than a month.

We bought this fridge because we wanted a black french door counter depth fridge that had crushed ice. This was one of the few options available at the time and appeared to be built very well so we went with it. Unfortunately the ice maker in this fridge is HORRIBLE. It's now three years old and we have had repairmen out 8 times in that time span to repair the ice maker. Horrible design that should be changed. We are having the repairmen come out for one last try at a permanent repair next Tuesday, if it doesn't work they are giving us store credit (luckily we have bought extended warranties) and we will be replacing it with something NOT made by Electrolux.

We love our new counter depth refrigerator. We just replaced a very large GE French Door standard size refrigerator which we had nothing but problems (but that's another review). The Electrolux runs so quietly in comparison to the old one that we barely hear the ice drop. There are two ice dispensers which come in really handy. The one in the door doesn't make a ton of ice and the cubes are very small. The freezer ice maker makes the standard cubes and has a large open drawer it drops into. The refrigerator is huge. We really don't notice a difference in size with the counter depth. We are really happy with the purchase.

The IQ Touch French door refrigerator is, for the most part, a well made, attractive unit that fills the counter depth market niche quite nicely at a reasonable price. The vegetable, fruit, cheese and cold cut drawers are spacious and very effective. The outside water dispenser stopped working after two months, the service tech came and repaired it and, no problems since then. We really appreciate the inside and outside ice dispensers, they are really useful when we have company. The water and air filter (the air filter is a great feature not usually found in other refrigerators) are easy to change. The IQ Touch controls are effective, well designed, attractive and clearly laid out.

I purchased this Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator with IQ-Touch™ Controls mainly because it was able to fit in the space that I had existing under the cabinet in my kitchen. I liked all of the features with this model (2 Ice makers, LED lighting, Air and water filters). I have had to have the upper ice maker replaced after 6 weeks. The service man came out and was very professional. He had the part with him and replaced it in under an hour. Other than this one issue this has been working great. I would defiantly recommend this model to others.

This is a gorgous hunk of metal and overall, operates smoothly. I insisted we get a counter depth refrigerator, it had to be white, and it had to be french door in design. Electrolux could meet all of these specficatons, according to the description, so we ordered. It was made for us special and we are pretty happy with it so far. One issue came up with the freezer temperature beginning to rise and a service personal came fairly quickly and determined what part was needed, ordered it, and then returned the following week and did a very quick install which solved the problem. I do think it makes some noises that could be eliminated connected to the upper ice maker. I feel we made a the best choice withthis refrigerator/freezer (dependent upon our requirements) and would consider another if and when this one needs to be replaced.

We wanted a counter depth fridge with less clunky looking features, so was limited to brand choices in black at our price range. Electrolux fit our demands. But already the top ice maker had broken due to plastic parts. We only had the fridge 11 months so was still under warranty. But now knowing the faulty ness of the plastic in which the plastic cube trays are they most likely will crack and happen again.
The inside features are nice lots of light. The drawer freezer is ok a little small. Plus the freezer has a ice maker as well that takes up space. If I don't have anymore premature issues before it's years, it's still a nice refrigerator. Just wish so many parts weren't made of plastic. Probably cheaper plastics instead of quality plastics.

We needed to replace our refrigerator immediately...not much time to shop and our requirement was white, French doors with a bottom freezer. Apparently the world wants stainless these days! However, we locked into the ELECTROLUX...perfect counter depth and seemingly great quality. I did notice, surprisingly, that refrigerators of all brands seem to be absent a butter dish and egg tray/container. Fortunately I was able to rescue those from my "deceased" refrigerator. Really, how much could those items cost as an accessory?
