Customer Reviews

Rated 2.9 out of 5 by 69 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BUYER BEWARE - ZERO STARS!!!!! The designer did a great job. I love the way it looks and works - WHEN IT WORKS. And it is very quiet. Easy to love... Until you start getting the error codes. ERROR CODE 01 (and sometimes 11). It won't work, you turn off the power, it might work again or night not, but you have to let it reset for 8 hours. It has been repaired 3 times now. I have been without it twice for 5 weeks. Once over Christmas. The repair man is coming back on Wednesday. I'm looking up lemon laws on the internet. Shame on Kelly Rippa for talking me into Electrolux. I will never buy another Electrolux product - not even a broom. A preschooler must have engineered this thing!!! Even the repair man hates trying to fix this brand and the company is hard to get along with when trying to repair. April 1, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Plastic used is not durable I bought this dishwasher for its noise rating. It is very quiet but the plastic used is very poor quality. I had another dishwasher for 18 years with no issues with the inside components. So far I have had to replace all of the bottom rollers on the pull out tray. The plastic became brittle and changed shape so the wheels would fall out. Another year later and now the top rack sprayer plastic is doing the same. The sprayer no longer moves freely in its hub and nothing is getting clean. I am very disappointed with the material used for this product. Depending on the cost to replace the sprayer I may just replace the whole dishwasher. September 21, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by response To be honest our dishwasher has been a pain after about 1 year in service. We have had it repaired for e1 code a few times until we finally found someone who knew what they were doing. They upgraded the machine with all the design changes and that problem was resolved. This was a joke as I watch him practically rebuild the machine. Now we have issues with the soap release / dissolving soap and frankly I am tired of having it serviced so put off calling. I guess I am glad I had an extended warranty or it would have been gone. The expectations given the price paid have not been met at all but thanks for asking. Sincerely Jack August 16, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love The Functionality I've had this dishwasher for almost three years.  We purchased a whole set of appliances of Electrolux when we remodeled our kitchen a couple of years ago.  The dishwasher is one of my favorite appliances.  I love how the top rack can be lowered or raised (I can easily fit in my cookie sheets).  I enjoy all the options of the different cycles which I use all of them depending on what is in the dishwasher.  The only downfall is that the spring in the dishwasher door has sprung twice now in the last six months.  I would still recommend this dishwasher but be aware that the spring in the door can go "out" which if you aren't careful the door can slam to the floor.   November 14, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very poor performer This is by far the most expensive dishwasher I've ever purchased and very likely the least effective. It simply does not wash the dishes. For one thing, there doesn't appear to be any significant water pressure. It apparently doesn't drain very well either, because it often has a bad odor. It packs very well, but the water connection for the upper tray only works in one position: it the other positions the tubing consistently pulls away from the tray, and then it won't connect to the water supply. Based on this experience and and a totally unproductive experience with another Electrolux product, I do not ever intend to buy any other Electrolux products. October 3, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice.. not great for the price Purchased as part of a package for a kitchen remodel.. beautiful looking dishwasher.. very, very quiet.. items in the top rack need to be rinsed if you want them to get clean.. it's OK.. for what we paid I was expecting more.. the feature that shuts off the dishwasher if it senses a leak failed and disabled the dishwasher.. there was no leak to be found.. feature had to be disconnected to get the dishwasher to work.. there has been no leak found after almost three years of almost daily use.. for it to work well you must use the heavy duty cycle with all options for really clean dishes.. that cycle takes almost two and a half hours.. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by reset For the most part, the washer runs and runs well. It won't dry the dishes for some reason and it leaves soap residue on the plates. But it has been reliabile for nearly four years.  Currently the system is giving me an Er 01 code, which suggests that there is a water buildup in the base. I have removed the water and, I believe, the cause of the buildup -- some broken glass in the bottom. Unfortunately, there is no reset mechanism -- or at least there is none described in the owner's manual -- so I can't test whether it is working or not.  Any suggestions on how to reset the electronics on the door would be appreciated.  March 16, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by First stainless steel d/w I have owned There are pros and cons about this dishwasher..I have not owned a stainless steel tub dishwasher I feel that it is a little dark in the racks.I was used to contrast and reflection from the white sides and colorful dishes..However, I have never owned a dishwasher as quiet as this one..It is virtually silent....I am not used to the racks and am finding it hard to put my plastics and roasting dishes anywhere...but..after learning I needed to add rinse agent to help the plastics dry..they dry very thoroughly. .
