1st set got an error during the initial test cycle, Electroluxe sent a new one...2nd one got a different error code during the test cycle. Returned them and went with a different company. Electroluxe's customer service is awful by the way...The Home Depot's customer service was phenomenal!! They went above and beyond!! Employees came to our house to assist when Electroluxe refused to help.

I have not called Home Depot yet, but purchased the washer in March of 2015. Major repair to it in January of 2016, still under warranty. They had to rebuild the drum. I had it done by a recommended repair place that did electolux warranty work, did a great job. Unfortunately same issue 8 months later and out of warranty. I was informed that the parts are under warranty but labor is not. Labor was 4 hours and will cost me over $600. A new washer is around $900, not sure that made sense to me. I would think Electrolux would want to replace the washer. I did call them, they offered to pay for the labor and fix the washer. Also recommended that I purchase and extended warranty for $200 so that if this happened again, it would be covered. I was insulted that they wanted me to pay an additional $200 to cover a washer that does not have a good track record.

I love all the different settings and options. The efficiency is very good. I like the sanitize option as well.

Haven't had the Washing machine for more than a month but love it so far. I was easy to install, has a sturdy frame so that it doesn't shake all over, and has some really nice features like the steam cleaning. The price was right there in the mid-range for an excellent washing machine.

I have owned this washer for a month or so and I love it. I have always been a fan of Electrolux and I am happy that I have chosen this washer over LG. One major selling point for me is the fact that the doors are reversible.(the standard opening is the opposite of what I need). Electrolux is the only company that offers the feature.
The washer has many options, many of which I have not tried yet and most likely will never use, but it's good to have the options. One negative to mention is that the doors sometimes don't close right away and need to be pushed couple times before they lock.
Overall, I would recommend this washer to anyone who is in the market for quality, washer.

We have had this washer for 2 years now and it has been working fine. We run about 10 loads a week, often using the sanitize cycle. Recently though, an error E29 popped up on the display suggesting blocked drain. Upon establishing that our drain pipes were clear, we called Home Depot; we purchased Home Depot 5-year protection plan. It was Saturday and technician's visit was scheduled for next Tuesday.
Since we were not satisfied with the attitude or approach of that technician (he asked for a tip before even touching the washer and "deduced" from the sound of the pump that it was broken without even opening the washer up), we called Home Depot back to schedule another company to cary out the repair. Home Depot promptly scheduled another company to investigate the problem. The second technician actually opened the washer up, cleared the tangled material that was preventing the pump from working properly and gave us some sound advice.
First of all, he praised us for purchasing the 5-year protection plan. The plan cost $120 but a visit from a repair man is at least $40. In our case the $40 would have taken care of the problem as nothing was actually broken. However, if the pump had been indeed broken, the mere cost of a new pump is $114 plus shipping and installation runs between $40 to $80.
Secondly we were told that malfunctioning board's repair, that is often the first repair done on these washers, costs no less than $400 but often is more like $700. Having the service plan offers 5 years of worry free life since Home Depot's professionals are so easy to work with and all repairs are done for free.
While our previous Electrolux washer gave us 13 years of heavy duty service without a single problem, we are told not to expect the same service from this washer. We shall see but so far so good.

I had loved this machine, but it is really poorly designed. What I didn't realize when we bought it is that you can't access the filter/trap. So for the past two and a half years of use I have been very cautious with it, and when my husband wanted to wash his back pack, a fairly light weight one, I was unsure. Well, the back pack came out all chewed up and then the machine wouldn't drain properly. Getting to the trap is nearly impossible. I called about service and because they told me I have to wait a week and because the dryer is stacked on top and I was told I would have to take that off the washing machine and make the rear accessible I called a local handyman for help (I was nervous about disconnecting the gas line to the dryer). He came and even thought he could get access to the trap and clear it. While he was able to remove the dryer from the top and remove several of the panels from the washing machine, the screws on the lower front are absolutely not coming off. He even called in another guy. Nothing they have tried over two hours, will release the bottom five screws.
My main complaint is that this washing machine is such an expensive appliance, but is badly designed as there should be some way to get to the filter/trap to remove the gunk and particles that collect. Rendering the machine completely unusable just because of something stuck in the trap is crazy. Having to call out a service guy to do it is nuts, this should be part of regular maintenance that I could perform.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GracieG If you Need a Reversible Door, This is a Good Option
I wanted a front load washer, but the space I have for a washer would only accommodate another top loader or a front loader with a right swing door, most front loaders have a left swing door. The door on this machine is reversible, the instructions are easy to understand and it's designed so you cannot tell the door has been reversed. Most people will tell you if you reverse a washer door it will leak, I've been using it for 2 months and no leaks.
Overall I am pleased with this washer, easy to use and it does not make too much noise, I usually only hear it when it's in the spin cycle. The only downside is there are not as many wash cycles as compared to other models, but if you are like me and don't think you will use the extra wash cycles, this model has all the basic ones you need and will save you a bit of money.
