Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by skylnlvr Good product but not for use with pan
Only giving this a poor rating based on the fact it does NOT work with the washing pan that is required in many multiple dwelling buildings like ours. With the pan underneath, the drawer opens only a few inches so there's no way to get any use out of it. Also, if you stack your washer and dryer, the height is awesome for the washer but made it difficult for me at 5'2" to reach the dryer controls. I'm bummed we can't use it as it looks like those with non-stacked units really love theirs. Just want to save apartment dwellers some time.

The pedestals arrived in the same delivery as the washer and dryer.
I was surprised at how much a simple pedestal weighs. It's 55 pounds which is a testament to its quality construction.
There is nothing to assemble on the pedestal itself.
The only thing you have to do is attach the washer or dryer unto the pedestal itself.
The included instructions are pretty straight forward to attach an appliance to this pedestal.
The washer or dryer secures to the pedestal through the use of four heavy steel brackets.
The pedestal itself is really nice. The drawer slides are heavy duty, full extension slides. Opening the drawer is effortless, and smooth.
The construction is all steel with a thick plastic front, matching the appliance color.
The collapsible basket is a really nice feature. It opens and closes with minimal effort. One really convenient feature is when you pull open the pedestal drawer, and open the basket, you can rest the basket on the drawer itself. Doing this, positions the basket just below the appliance door opening. This makes it so easy to remove your clothing.
The drawer has two dividers which you can reposition to two other slots to accommodate your laundry supplies. One thing I found out is if I remove the basket, the drawer WILL accommodate a large bottle of laundry detergent. With the basket in the drawer, it won't fit, remove it and your large bottle of detergent will easily fit into the drawer, standing upright.
Some may think after spending the money for a new washer and dryer, that adding a pedestal is one of those nice to have items, but not necessary.
There are several reasons to get the pedestals when you purchase your washer and dryer.
First, it raises the appliance to an effective working height. Without the pedestal, your bending over every time. Using the pedestal positions the appliance at just the right height to just reach in and grab your clothing.
Because it raises the appliance, it positions the drain hoses more parallel to the drain instead of running up to the drain. It makes draining more effective.
It affords you a great storage area for all your laundry needs.
The washer and dryer are not light. It is much easier to install the pedestal when initially installing your washer and dryer, then to drag the appliances out of your laundry room and attempt to install the pedestal's, then reposition the appliances.
Extremely pleased with the pedestals. Now that we've used them, I'd never consider purchasing another washer and dryer without the pedestals.
Worth their weight in gold!...It's one of those convenient necessities.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PJCC 2 Drawers combined with the Collapsible Milk Crate Stored inside has infinite possibilities
As stands for the Washer and Dryer the drawers attach with a set of two metal pieces of hardware and screws. You can DIY that, if you are looking for these as an add on.
The outside body of the drawers are a thin sheet metal, matching the washer/dryer. The drawer itself is made of a heavy plastic. It slides easily. The drawers raise the washer and/or dryer so that the handle opening their front door is 30 to 33 inches from the ground.
Stand with a yardstick to determine where that will be on you, for someone of average height I reached slightly down to open the door without any bending.
The collapsible milk crates are branded, KlappBox 46 Litter boxes. KlappBox, a German company, has a demo video on youtube showing their storage system is not only collapsible and stackable but capable of being put on a wheeled system.
Each drawer has a KlappBox crate. Adding a couple more would enable you to keep two extra on top of the washer/dryer to stack. The boxes measure 14 x 11 x 20 1/4. The most important measurement is the distance between the two ledges the crate slides into on the drawer. It appears any crate that collapses to 2 3/4 in depth and measures between 19 3/4 to 20 3/4 length fits in the drawer.
These drawers raise your machine to an easier working level and can give a start to a system of stackable, wall mountable and even capable of wheels - storage. You can give every member of your family their own box.
The drawers aren't high enough to hold an average bottle of liquid detergent, pictured. You could find containers for the drawers that would hold powder detergent.
I needed a Washer/Dryer because I didn't have the later and the former is a fire hazard. My review is based on need and not a desire to own a current piece of technology. These drawers are an old/new idea that works well with the appliance set.
My laundry room is small, ideas for utilizing space are important to me. I have chosen to review this product for that fact. This room was previously where the house had a copper pipe leak under the cement slab, we're also in a flood zone. After that, I don't want any of my appliances on the ground.

1st order (deluxe model): Delivery team said they can't install due to incorrect product/too heavy. They also said the item needed to be returned due to being a product used for a "dishwasher". Delivery team finally said they can't install the items and left. Called support and they said to just reorder (std model) --- 2nd Order: Delivery team didn't show up after two computer calls said they were coming. Called support and was told delivery team reported they were at my home for 20 minutes (I was home all day waiting - no one came). Support said I would have to call back when the Delivery company was open.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jimpet Nice high quality drawers
The height on the drawers made it easy to reach my washer and dryer without bending down. The drawers are so simpl and convenient, I love them! In my small space I can store all my laundry supplies without using the top of the washer or dryer. The drawers give the whole set a clean look. Installation took minutes!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LEDEngineer You Need These!
These are for the Electrolux compact washer / dryer. If you're going to put them side by side and not stack, you definitely want to get these. They make the height of the washer and dryer perfect, and they store a ton of stuff. They also help get the washer up where it can drain better, and it gets the intake vent of the dryer off the floor where it can draw in air that has less dust in it.
Quality is superb. The are HEAVY, about 50 pounds each, made of metal, with ball bearing tracks on the drawers. The drawers glide smooth like butter. I saw somewhere it says they can support like 600 pounds each. When you pull the drawers out, you can stick a regular rectangular laundry basket on it, and it puts it at a good height to load and unload clothes. It comes with a really nice folding "laundry basket" that looks like a milk crate - not too stylish but very functional. It folds and stores in a slot right above the drawer (inside).
There's a lot of space to store things, but if you want to get the maximum space, you have to remove the folding crate. With the crate stored, it will not hold most detergent bottles. With the crate removed, *most* bottles will fit, although there are some bigger ones that just won't go. If you use pods, the drawers are awesome because you can load them up with a million of them!
I didn't notice any additional noise caused by the drawers - like any type of resonance, or vibrating, etc. Overall a definite 'must' if you get the Electrolux washer / dryer. Oh and get them at the same time, because you do not want to be lifting the washer / dryer onto these after you already have them installed.
