Is there an open space at the range's base? I currently have a gas line 4" above the floor. Would it need to be removed? Or, can it stay there?

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 111 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by E 15 If you don't know what this is then get ready This oven had perfectly worked throughout the manufacture's warranty period. Now it gives errors sporadically. As of now we can reset the breaker and use it most of the time. The touch panel also doesn't work sometime. March 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Electrolux EW301S65JS This stove is wonderful.First feature used was the Perfect Turkey - and it was right on - moist tender and ready to eat. My main worry was scratching up the glass top with my cast iron skillets and was told by a representative about silicone mats and wa-la - they worked. So overall I would definitely buy another but they are expensive - the cook surface responds immediately - when it is off the heat is off. The glass surface is still hot though so you still have to take care. December 21, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Love it, but needed repair w/in 4years I love the induction top! It has allowed me to control the heat while cooking as no other electric stove I have owned. The oven temp has been hard to figure out, but adding time or 5-10 degrees seems to help. The electronic controls had to be replaced recently. We purchased the extended warranty (glad it was offered even though we did I not have one previously) to pay for repair and have it covered for a few more years (hopefully not needed). This was an expensive appliance for us during our whole house renovation. Would I get it again? If Electrolux has improved the electronic part so repairs are not needed after a few years, I would absolutely purchase again. If improvements were not made I would look into a different brand. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutely LOVE it! extremely easy to use and understand the technology! Water boils in record time! Oven is extremely efficient; and all my food turns out perfect now! When oven is turned off, no heat escapes into the room when door is left closed. Even summer cooking does NOT heat up my kitchen at all!! I use bottom oven to keep food warm for latecomers. Cooktop is a breeze to use as well. It's like I have an electric range with all the control of a gas range! SOOOO happy we purchased this beautiful range!! August 27, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love it, but getting intermittent E15 Error code This is a great induction range that cooks / boils fast. The glass surface gets somewhat scratched over time even when well looked after. However, we recently started getting an E15 error code, and it keep beeping away till power is turned off. Looks like lots of people on the web have the error, but no clear fix or solution...very frustrating September 27, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great features! The appliance is great in that it comes to a boil almost instantaneously...a far cry from what I had before. The two large cooking elements are in the front and the smaller two are in the back. I wish that I had one of each in the front and in the back. The rack in the bottom oven is nearly half the size of the drawer allowing for one large pan or one small pan. September 23, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by E15 Error Code I bought the range about 4 years ago and about a year ago we started seeing an error code E15. It seemed to go away after leaving the stove for a few minutes, however, now it is on permanently and have not been able to get it to go off, and therefore, the stove top does not function. The forums on the E15 error code is very disheartening - some have spent thousands trying to fix it and in the end, has never solved it. I came across this web site and one reviewer posted on the same issue, but seemed to have found a fix for it. However, the information they left was a bit vague. His comment was "When I installed it, I neglected to remove the ground strap between neutral and the frame (4 conductor wire). It's been a few days and has been behaving itself." Can anyone give me more information on this? Where would I find this 4 conductor wire? Thank you. August 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Induction Range - Slide in We purchased our range in 2012 and happy is an understatement with our stove top and oven. The stove top is easy to clean and reacts like a gas range, when you turn it off, it's off. The double oven is as plus and serves us well. September 16, 2015
