Within the first year this machine was repaired twice for pulley problems. In the last 7 months, since it has been out of warranty, the pulley was replaced in June and now the complete insides of the machine have to be replaced. Yes- inner tub, outer tub, motor, motor control, pulley, belt, and some other small parts. Electrolux corporate manager Chanelle basically told me too bad, it's out of warranty and you purchased an extended warranty from a vendor other than Electrolux. Way to go, Electrolux!!! You really stand behind the quality of your products!!!! I'm sorry that I expected a $1500 washer to last more than 19 months. How stupid of me. But not dumb enough to ever buy this brand again.

I have always been a fan of Electrolux products, and had used a high efficiency washer/dryer in Ireland last year. This washer is large and really leaves the clothes not wet. It only takes a fraction of the time to dry them it used to. So I'm saving water and gas.

Leaking Electrolux Washer EWFLS70JIW
Washer is over 1 year old and has developed a bad water leak from bottom. Repairman replaced detergent drawer and housing which he said was cracked. STILL LEAKING AS BADLY AS EVER! I get to pay for home full of top end Electrolux appliances but worse get to hear wife complain about quality and staying home waiting for repairs. Refrigerator has also required repairs! HELP ELECTROLUX!

It hasn't been 48 hours since it was delivered, but soon it will be. I washed all day yesterday. I am a caregiver for my Father. Almost every morning there was washing, and this purchase has made it less of a concern. That's my general purchase decision, and, we have an electrolux stove which is 12 years old. My brother works for Whirlpool and he says that they make parts for other models, I have no proof of this for electorlux.
The beeps are nice and audible across three rooms. It does shake when spinning: The pedestals were about half off in price and necessary for our household. Don't take it for granted that the shelves and utility box/valves will go. The Closetmaid shelves had plastic pipes that broke apart. The utility valves were replaced. The measurements are perhaps accurate, and seem to be less deep then the Whirlpool models. I don't know for sure, as, the delivery men, a separate company, have certain rules to follow and it means a lot of room behind the gas dryer at any rate. The doors back into each other, and, the washer doors are not changeable. But the doors open flat and so I am keeping it as is. We have dryer on left, washer on right and were told that we could switch, but they do not bring longer water supply lines. They will do the steam attachment to the dryer as a matter of course.
I reviewed the instruction lightly and thought, oh my, but, in reality they both work with little instruction! The deliverymen carry both items in with two slings. And the old ones are marked and taken out. There is time to do a light cleaning of the floor, but, I had it cleaned beforehand, for the most part. They will be patient if you need to use the bathroom …. if that is where they are going.
I am totally happy with this and only mark it to four points because I have had it for such a short time. Our stove needed no service. Dry the front of the washer lip, under and on top. A few black marks came on the towel (at first wipe.)
Very quiet dryer and washer, and steam in dryer worked to get out larger wrinkles in men's trousers. Noise is when filling washer and spinning. There are then some noises that may make one wonder. Time will tell. They promised that they balanced the items. Installation was 1 hour, with above things mentioned.
Watch the small cancel button under pause. It can cancel but there is a rinse and spin if that is when it was touched. (One time and likely not again.)

I can' t really give a factual review until I have owned this set a bit longer. See you in at least six months :) One thing I will recommend is making sure that Home Depot sends a copper version of the part needed to install the dryer for steam. They sent a plastic one that broke right while the installers were loading up and flooded the mudroom with water. We had to complete the installation ourselves after heading to Home Depot for a replacement part.

I am thrilled with this machine! While it has a lot of features, instructions are clear, and the control panel is easy to use. The clothes come out amazingly clean. It is very quiet. It dosn't have the 'drain' hose on the bottom so many other front loaders have (which once we were aware of, avoided purchasing a machine with it).
We hope to have many long years with this machine.
