Aluminum. Warning - I have read that this aluminum will fuse itself to brass couplings after a few weeks, and they cannot be separated.

As long as the material is used in a commonly defined use for the product it is covered by material failure. Not if it is rubbed through or ran over and the connectors bent, etc..

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wow why didn't I? Should have bought one of these long ago! Going to buy another in a fifty foot length! July 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Literally the worst hose I've ever purchased Complete junk. Do not buy unless you are gong to replace both ends with barbed to GH adapters which is what I had to do 7 minutes after hooking this up when the male end shot off from city tap water pressure. The hose is almost a slip fit around a thin brass hose "barb" with no clamp around the barb section to create any strength. The very end holds 1/8" of the hose against the barb and that is it. Sad and disgusting to label this contractor grade. December 16, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good 3 year hose [ for Calif.] I've had 2 of these hose's first one lasted 3 years, second one lasted 3 years. This hose lives in my front yard 12 months a year.[in Calif. almost never freezes ] and I get 3years. Pull the cardboard sign off the front and staple receipt to it hang it up in garage=lifetime warranty HD is good for it ! June 11, 2016
