I have been using this hose for a couple of weeks and it performs well for me. Not too heavy, quite flexible and does not curl up. The couplings appear to be anodized aluminum and are shaped to be easy to turn for tightening to bib or another hose. Not sure about durability after being run over by a car.
Available in multiple lengths, perfect for any application (50, 75 and 100 ft.). Element IndustrialPRO, ideal for the Contractor and the Serious Do-It Yourselfer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KN07 Great, strong hose!
What's not to like about this amazing hose! First of all, no lead, a HUGE deal if you're watering a garden or care about possible contamination at any point. Also, the hose itself is strong and never kinks. Because of it's strength, it can be a little hard to unwind or wind up, but at least it won't kink (a huge and super annoying problem with our last hose).
Also, the end of the hose that connects to the faucet has added support so that the hose itself isn't bent over time, as well as easy winding on metal parts that don't make you twist the whole hose to attache it. Great attributes!
Great, durable product, and I greatly appreciate that it's lead-free!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ToolTimeTony Commercial grade, strong, flexible, kink resistent
This is a commercial grade hose made by Elements, a division of Swan, a well-known name in hoses. It is a 50 foot long hose with a 5/8 inch diameter. The hose provides plenty of water volume. The hose is rated with a high burst strength, 500 psi, is lead free and drinking water safe, and has good kink resistance. Its brown color blends well in most locations. Both end have brass lead free heavy duty couplers, and the faucet connection end has a hose armor wrapping to prevent kinking. The hose was fairly flexible given its sturdy construction, and it is recommended that is be used in temperatures of at least 70 degrees to maintain maximum flexibility. It is not for hot water, and is not intended for indoor use. It has a lifetime warranty. I installed the hose on an older hose reel with a hand crank. Hose comed with a washer installed. THe hose coiled with ease. Unwinding without the water on did result in a few kinks, but turning the water on corrected the problem. All in all a good general purpose hose

It leaked from the end attached to an attachment and then the end came off. I have never had a hose let alone one that I was under the impression was "commercial grade" come apart so fast. Didn't make it 10 minutes.. Inferior product that was trying to be passed off as superior.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by justbombs A well constructed hose
This is most certainly a well constructed hose and is equal to or better than several hoses I have been using here now and in the past. The connectors are extremely heavy-duty and the female connector is built so that you can get a wonderful grip so that attaching the hose is a snap.
I found the hose to be very kink resistant and again, acted like a hose in this price range should act.
I have and use a lot of hoses on our place and this one has the appearance of lasting a long, long time; that is if I do not mow over it - something I have done quite a few times in the past.
All in all, you get what you pay for and I have found that spending a few extra dollars now will save me a fortune on down the road. This hose should last for quite a few years.

I normally only buy 100 foot hoses because I have a large piece of property. But I needed a shorter hose that will permanently stay in one place, except when I am mowing. It will be a connection between the spigot and the bushes that it will water on the other side of the driveway. This is just perfect for the job. It lay flat when I unrolled it from it's shipping roll, some hoses want to kink which will shut off the water flow.
The black, or almost black, hides itself in the dirt and weeds.

Previously had a ringed hose that was "supposed" to be state of the art. WASN'T! Got a hole in it and was unable to be used. A waste of $'s, as was the previous hose. SO happy to find a dependable hose that works!!

I store my hoses on hose reels. The old ones would get "smooshed" over time and brittle. I mention the hose reel because I read some other remarks about this hose kinking easily. I haven't experienced that myself - for me it did not kink any more or less than any other hose.
What I found most impressive on this hose was the fittings. They are quiet heavy, but allow for easy couple - decoupling (pic attached). There are also strain reliefs.
This is made in USA.
