Light and nice. Fitted perfectly in my old counter. The metal is not so thick.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Keith BEAUTIFUL LIGHTWEIGHT STAINLESS STEEL SINK
As you can see in the picture, this is a beautiful stainless steel sink. I have always thought that stainless steel meant very strong steel that doesn't bend and doesn't rust or discolor. That's not true with this sink. It is made from 22 ga. steel which is pretty thin. The industry has been moving to thinner steel sinks for many years and that's good and bad. The good part is they are a lot lighter and can be installed easier. Also it is cheaper to produce keeping the prices down. The down side is they are more fragile. More care is needed to keep the beautiful brushed shine on the surface and ensuring that you don't bend it (by not pushing too hard on the faucet handle or dropping iron skillets on it). The list provided on care and cleaning of your sink is full of "Do's" and "Don't" but most of it is common sense stuff.
Installation is fairly easy. The provided instructions are simple and adequate. Cutting the hole in your counter top is the most critical part. 'Measure twice, cut once' is important here. The hardware is included and simple to use. You will have to provide your own calk.
If you want a beautiful stainless steel sink, but don't want to spend a lot of money and are willing to put the effort into keeping your sink beautiful, this one is for you.

The thickness is thin so you will have to put a protector on the bottom so it won't dent the bottom.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Suzie619 Good for the money
I have an older house with the original shallower than normal counters. There are only a few 19" sinks available that will fit, and I went with this one based on the quality of Elkay products I've purchased in the past.
Pros: nice finish
Easy installation- dropped right in
Cons: Most of the bottom is not flat, which took some getting used to. I use an over the sink dish rack, so not a big deal.
Streaks like crazy, must be wiped down each time to keep it looking nice. Probably could be waxed or oiled to prevent that.
The whole sink seems to flex when I use the pull down feature on my faucet. Time will tell if the flexing turns into warping.
But for $109, this sink actually exceeded my expectations.

I ordered this sink to be delivered to our local store. Upon arrival we were notified by email - ok so far. Went to pick it up and the box was beat up and so we opened the box and found the sink bent on one end. Honestly with the box beat up you would think some one other than the customer would look at the it to see if the product was damaged and ordered another one for me. But, that was not the case. The "Customer Service" lady just looked at me to see if I would take it. Well-no I ordered a NEW sink not one that I have to repair. Well after nearly a week my wife got a call from the store wanting to know if we wanted to order a new sink. Honestly if I asked them to order a new sink you would think they would now wouldn't you. So after 3 1/2 weeks the new sink came in and I installed it with a Home Depot faucet on it. It looks good- The sink is fine the customer service stinks.
