Hands down these are the worst design of any mounting clips. In order to get them to do any good, you have to tighten the hold-down screw. This requires you to torque down on a screw which has a 3/16" long, skinny single slot for a head while lying on your back crammed up under your sink. After hours of struggling, I looked up their website hoping for some guidance. I discovered that Elkay makes a special screwdriver that holds the screws nicely. There were no screwdrivers displayed with the clips. And on the package of clips itself, it says NOTHING about any screwdriver .Brilliant marketing. Without this phantom screwdriver, these clips are very nearly impossible to secure. If you can't get an F350 Elkay screwdriver, DON"T buy these worthless clips.

I recently replaced my laminate counter with butcherblock, which required longer screws for my sink clips. I had no issues with using these. All I needed was an average sized flat head screw driver and I had all 14 clips replaced within 10 minutes. If you don't already have a flat head make sure to buy one, and don't bother wasting your money on their "special" tool. I mean, really, it's just a screw.
