Sink grid to small for sink. Same manufacturer, Elkay. There was no option that fit my sink. Had to buy a smaller grid, so it's always slipping around. Not happy. Elkay should have products that fit all their sinks.

I purchased this item to protect the bottom of the new stainless steel sink that I purchased at Home Depot. It came with plastic feet. There was slight movement from the grid from side to side. I now have large scratches on the bottom of my new sink! I do not recommend this product. They should have soft rubber feet so that there is no movement and if there is, the rubber would not scratch the bottom of the sink. I am very, very disappointed and have no idea how to repair the damage that this item caused my new sink.

You get what you pay for and in the case of this sink insert not much. Was expecting more for the price. Have been using it for a few weeks and it will do the job but is made very cheaply with thin stainless steel. I believe for the price it should have been more robust.

This product was specifically recommended by Elkay as a match for the sink I purchased from Home Depot. Average is about what I expected for the price because it would not be fair to compare this product (sink or the grid) to a high end Franke brand, but you do basically get what you pay for.
This particular grid is very light weight, The material used to make the grid is relatively thin. It's is not heavy like some other grids I've seen and used.
Most importantly, it's a small footprint and doesn't cover the entire bottom of the sink it's supposedly matched to. This was disappointing because you want a grid to cover the entire bottom to keep items from scratching the sink, the main reason I bought it in the first place. The feet are covered with plastic, which causes it to slide around quite often.
The alternative is to buy a rubber mat, or try to find a larger grid, which I was unable to locate. At this price however, I suppose this grid is better than nothing and will protect most of the sink bottom from scratching.
I'd recommend it if you're not expecting it to be a perfect fit or a high end grid.
