My son installed this sink for me when he also put in black granite tiles for the counter tops. It is what I always wanted and I couldn't be happier. No more sink divider to bang and break dishes on. Pots fill with ease and I can even wash the dog without flooding the floor!
Barkeepers Friend is the best cleanser to keep it looking like new. We drilled an extra hole for my hot tap. FAB sink!! All supplies from Home Depot and it looks like a model home.

I bought this to replace an acrylic sink in horrible shape. I like stainless steel because it's easy to clean and hygienic. This sink probably isn't true stainless steel because like other reviewers have said, it was prone to rusting. True stainless steel does not rust and I think there must be some other compound with this sink that the company is not mentioning.
That being said, it did rust during the first week of use in little spots. I just got some bar keepers friend and rubbed it right out instantly. After the first week, the rust has not come back. However, I use the bar keepers friend once a week. I would do this for any stainless steel sink because it makes them shine. I am not particularly careful with this sink and I don't wipe it up immediately.
The bottom is coated so it's not especially tinny sounding.
Overall, it's a very good sink for the price. I am happy with my purchase and I am glad that I have it. Just invest in a bottle of bar keepers friend (a little goes a long way) and you won't have any problems.

The first sink that I purchased was of poor quality. The mounting bar that secures the front of the sink to the counter top failed causing the front edge to pop out. Had to hire a plumber again to replace it.
I bought the same exact model again for a replacement and after less that 6 weeks the "stainless steel is showing rust streaks.
Terrible product Stay from any Elkay products.

My application: Replacing a sink in an existing tile counter top. Some sinks come with a template on the box that you can cut out and lay over the opening. This one does not. What the instructions fail to mention is that due to the round corners measurements must be dead on. Lacking aforementioned template, put blue painter's tape on the perimeter to avoid scratching the finish, turn the sink upside down and trace around just the radius of all corners. [The straight sides can be measured]. Cut inside the round corners approximately 1/4 inch, not square to them or you could end up with a gap! Also, the sink is 1/8" high in the center of all four sides, it does not sit flat in the opening. You must really cinch down the brackets to make it contact the surface. Be generous with the caulk and use a tube intended for kitchen and bath that resists mold. The finish is nice and I like the fact it is manufactured with a high percentage of recycled material.

We bought this sink for a new kitchenette for my father in law who is moving into our basement. We purchased it along with a new faucet from Home Depot and are very happy with how it all came together!

This sink was easy to place in the new counter-top. It was the right depth for a small, rental kitchen yet still left a good amount of room under the sink for storage.

Sink looks good. Heavy duty stainless. I put this in my shop. It gets lots of punishment. Still looks great.
