Answer:
Four and a half inches? I can't measure the exact measurements of THE HOLE because I installed the assembly the drain basket sits in but the assembly is Four and a half inches wide. It's a standard hole for a sink drain.

Neptune vs. Dayton

This question is from Neptune Top Mount Stainless Steel 33 in. 4-Hole Double Bowl Kitchen Sink

I can't seem to figure out any difference at all between the two sinks except the part number (NS233194 vs. D233194#, the price #$109 vs. $110.40), and the fact that the Neptune is in store and the Dayton is online only.
The even dollar figure leads me to believe discontinued or clearance but it doesn't say that anywhere. They are both listed on Elkay's website so probably not. The website uses different terminology describing the undercoating on each one but they do both have undercoating.
I'm in a mobile home and I have to have this size. I'd like to just go pick it up instead of waiting up to six weeks for delivery.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from product looks good and was easy for my husband to install We like the fact that it is stainless steel, much easier to keep clean then my other sink both the sink wells are the same size, not like my other one with a small and large and I love that. Gives me the room for what I need to do. Fits great and looks good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy drop-in The job of replacing the sink took about 2 hours to do. The sink I found does seem to stain a little with tea bags. It is the only sink found to fit a mobile nome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful sink It is a matte stainless steel sink which compliments beautifully the new Moen faucet I also bought. My contractor said it was of good quality. Glad I purchased this sink although I was restricted because of the size. This was a replacement sink and therefore had to fit in with the plumbing and existing cut out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase. This was a special order as it was not in stock. The first one was jammed on the front left corner and would not set down tight when attempting to mount it into the opening in the new counter top. We were advised not to use it and it was returned. Reordered. The new one fit like a pocket in a shirt. Looked great and filled the bill. All of this was done with no questions asked and a sense of urgency. Great customer service from THE HOME DEPOT and the factory that shipped it. Thanks to all involved , Olivette & Ed May.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent for a low budget project. Mobile home sinks are hard to find a really expensive. This did the job, very light weight though and came with a few tiny dings on the edges. Knocked them out myself and got the job done for half the price of mobile home supplier.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good cheap sink When installing sink I found out that the hold down will only fit a 3/4" counter top. As mine has backer board and tile on top of the plywood I had to invent a way to use the supplied hold downs to clamp the sink to my counter. Longer screws would be a nice addition to adapt to different counter top thicknesses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Got what I order. Works fine. This was a replacement fit the space. Took about an hour to take out old sink and replace with new. It hooked up to the pumping didn't have to change anything that made it nice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good for older mobile home I needed a replacement for an older mobile home that a 22" sink wouldn't fit. This one worked fine. It is not very thick, so flexes some even when installed.
