I needed a new stainless sink to replace the old porcelain/cast iron model that had seen better days, so I chose this Elkay model, primarily for two reasons-- it features four fixture holes (so I could add a soap dispenser) and its thicker 20-Gauge stainless steel.
The installation went smoothly, the instructions were clear (and helpful) and I'm very pleased with the overall finish and look of the satin-finished unit. It's the perfect complement to my new stainless faucet and soap dispenser-- washing the dishes is once again tolerable! Well-made product

This is a nice sink and it is a dual mount. The reason why i put 4 stars is it doesn't came with undermount bracket and the drain location in the middle(flat instead of angled) , the water tend to stay instead of draining completely, but for the price can't complain!

This is a decent middle-of-the-road quality sink. Though it is labeled as dual mount, I believe it should only be installed top mounted. As was pointed out to me by my granite counter top installer, this unit is designed to have the faucet mounted directly on the stainless steel sink and not in the counter top. As you use the faucet, over time the back and forth motion of the handle will eventually breakdown the seal between the sink and the counter top. Not only would this be unsightly, but would create a leak point to the cabinet underneath. This would not be the case if the sink were mounted on top of the counter.
I still give this sink high marks as it is a decent quality unit, especially for the value. I would simply recommend caution with choice of installation application.

Do not care for this sink at all. I love the look of the new sink. But within 4 days of the sink being installed there are already scratches in the bottom of the sink. I had a sink that was about 13 years old and it did not scratch that easy. The only reason we changed it out was because we got new counter tops, and the old one no longer shinned.
Will not buy a product made by this company again. I feel as if they stole my money.

My contractor had a hard time installing the sink. Even though this is a slightly thicker gauge steel, it is still too thin and pliable. The first one we purchased from the store was bent and dented, the second one was less damaged but also not perfect. And the soundproofing that the salesman raved about, well it's not really soundproofed

I bought this sink to replace a builder's sink which was 5-6" deep. This 8" deep sink was easy to install with good instructions, looks good and is quiet when water is run in it. I also bought a new faucet and the two of them look super in my kitchen. I didn't have to spend a fortune for a nice kitchen sink.
