Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DoItHerselfer very good match to my floors
Much better than whatever the jokers who installed the floors used originally. There are little dark polka dots of filler over all of the nail holes on the quarter round trim that don't match the floors. I pulled off all the trim on the stairs and filled those holes (plus a couple of gaps in corners around doors) and the golden oak is a near perfect match to my floors. This is literally what I have been searching for since moving in, and I can't wait to go back and redo all of the existing nail holes. I have only used the tube once a few days ago, so I can't speak to the long lasting-ness like other reviewers, but I will hurry up and do my repairs and store the rest. The consistency is like a very thick, gritty toothpaste, so I wouldn't be surprised that it dries out fairly quickly, but it's a bargain for the tube for how happy it made me (can you tell I'm a little detail-oriented?), so if it's dried out the next time I try to use it, I'll happily buy another.

Matches some oak plywood I recently build a few projects out of. Dries quickly. Sometimes a little too quickly. Hard, tough product when dry. I suggest using a sanding block to finish with. Took the clear lacquer finish with ease. Thoroughly kneed or mix the product in the tube prior to application & keep a cap on it. Found that it dried in the tip of the tube when I left uncapped for too long.

This product was so separated and then hardened in the tube that I had to cut it open, scrape it into a dish and mix it with a spoon. Since I didn't need a lot of it at the time, I had to throw the bulk of it away.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Curt Great, once you get it out of the tube.
I had the same problem as other reviewer's with other colors. It's difficult to get out of the tube, the material is pretty dry. I used a finish nail with the head end in the tube and moved it back and forth to make the material come out easier. Once applied it was better than any putty or filler I've used before. Fills easily, doesn't shrink, cleans up very easily and accepts stain very well.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Greg DON'T BUY THIS!!!
I like the filler but not the tube. I thought it would be convenient - it was, at first.
I started using a brand-new tube about two weeks ago. I've only had the cap off while filling and screwed on tight the rest of the time. Every time I go to use it I have a harder time getting it out of the tube. Material near the tip is blocking the flow of the still wet material inside the tube. Nevertheless, until today I have been able to get filler out of the tube with a little effort by jamming a screw into the end of the tube and moving it around - today I had no such luck.
I would estimate that I have used less than 10% of what is in the tube and the rest is unusable unless I cut the tube somewhere else.
Funny thing... I was returning something else shortly after I bought this and I saw someone returning a tube of it. I guess now I know why!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RednexToyz Works well if you can get it out
First and foremost, it is a great product! I have used a few of the various wood colors. This once blends the best with my red oak projects. The product can be a bit hard to get out of the tube. I find that it is easier when warm & when working the tube between your finders to mix/soften the product. I wither get wet, thin stuff or dry lumps out if I don't "kneed". Once open, even when caped & stored in my shop drawer, it clogs after a month or two. My last tube I just had to cut the corner off of & use what I could & toss the rest.
Now, for use..... It bonds strong & I have found it to be harder than my trim wood when used to fill in some spots on kickboards & window trip. Still sands out smooth, but use caution with the soft wood as you may sand the wood faster than the filler (ie. pine trim). Suggestion: Use a sanding block to finish out smooth. Shrinkage is minimal. Dries very fast.
I'll continue to use till something better comes along.
