CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Try something else I followed the instructions, but was dissatisfied with the results. The formula is a little bit thick, but it wasn't a problem to fill small holes and cracks, then smooth over with my finger or putty knife (san down later). One problem I had is that the filler, when filling small gaps in joints, developed hairline cracks once it had completely dried. For nail holes and small gouges, it was fine, but I wouldn't suggest it for other types of defects. While it did dry lighter than what you see in the tube, I found the color to be more drab gray than natural wood color. It was pretty noticeable on the pine appearance boards also found at HomeDepot. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Why won't you come out? I have to agree with another reviewer, this product is far too dry and doesn't 'flow' at all. I had hoped to poke an 1/8" hole in the tip and squeeze this into several screw holes. I ended up having to cut the entire tip off and even with the 1/4" hole I had to squeeze the tube excessively to get the product out. I was able to get my holes patched up but it seems like it should have required much less effort. July 24, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your money I did as directed, knead before use, but couldn't get the product to come out of the tube, it was like it had dried in the tube. I have used the Elmer's wood filler that comes in a tub and will stick with that, it's a good product and meets my needs. It seemed like night and day between the two formulas, that being the tube vs. tub. Stick with the tub, you'll be happy you did. I'm returning this tube to the store. July 13, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Wood Glue I like this glue and it's easy to use, strong and durable. You have to be sure that your product is kept air-tight and doesn't dry out, because then you run into application problems and it becomes difficult (at best) to use and doesn't have the holding power. You can also sand then paint or stain (not a large spot-as it will not match the wood grain) the area and it looks fine. February 15, 2013
