Overall not bad for the price but disappointed when I opened the box and one log was broken, not packed well. After opening a "case" at Homedepot.com a replacement log was sent by the manufacturer in a reasonable amount of time. Finally I was installing into my fireplace and noticed the brass nut holding the control to the housing was loose. I fixed that, ready for ignition and....the piezo electric igniter didn't work. I lit the pilot manually and the burner actually worked. Looks good but I'm reluctant to leave the pilot light lit considering the other issues with this set. Poor assembly, testing & inspection.

Arrived with one log broken, proved to be very hard to get the pilot light going. I had to heat the pilot with a butane lighter to get the gas flow started. Otherwise, nice gas log fire.

The install for this gas log set was pretty simple but when I turned on the gas I noticed a gas smell. Upon checking I found the line going from the pressure regulator to the gas control valve was leaking. I removed the line to check for damage and found one of the ends was not made correctly and would of never stopped leaking. I remade a new line myself since the manufacturer told me it would take 4 to six weeks to get a replacement which is a joke. After installing the new line I reinstalled the gas logs and turned the gas back on. I checked it again and there were no more leaks in that area but since I was a little concerned about what I found I checked again and found a small leak on the pilot tube coming off the control valve. I was able to repair this as well but for someone that has little experience with gas appliances this could of been a major problem. I am not sure how this was able to pass inspection during assembly but the quality is defiantly lacking.

i found these gas logs easy to install. the logs look real and they do come with a bag of ash to spread around for a more realistic look. i was happy to find out they also came with a gas line to hook them to my existing connector. they light first time every time so far and are very easy to light. best of all i love how they look in my fireplace and the price of the logs was great. i spent weeks looking for a good quality set of NG logs and i could not even come close to the price i bought these for.
i do wish the logs had better holding notches or pins. they stay in place as they are. it just would make me feel better if they did.

This is the first set of gas logs I've purchased. I sold my house and installed these to avoid fixing a bad spot in my chimney. My house was already piped for gas so it only took about 15 mins to install and test them. They work good and look god for the price and since they are vent free you can really feel the heat come into the room quickly.

We saved lots of money by buying these logs instead of getting an insert for the fireplace. The logs look great! I like how I don't have glass on my fireplace, just a screen. I definitely recommend this product!

System requires 1/2lb regulator to installed if your LP/Propane plumbing doesn't already have it. System was easy and straight forward to install. Incredible heat output. There is a an odor but hopefully that will burn off soon. Logs look very rustic and are good quality.

This log set is very nice for the price. My husband and I are new homeowners and wanted to update our 1950s wood-burning fireplace to gas without spending a fortune. We hired a plumber to run the gas lines and help us install the log set. After watching him do it, I realized how simple it was and probably could have done it myself. But messing with the natural gas scared me so it was worth the cost.
I am slightly disappointed in the height of the flames. They don't look very realistic and the "hiss" of the gas is quite obvious. But it does produce a good amount of heat and creates a nice ambiance. It's definitely a good choice when you're on a budget. I will mess with the arrangement of the logs and see what I can do to make it seem more realistic.
