Answer:
This unit comes with a 12" flex supply line. If that's not long enough, you'll need to purchase a longer one at any Home Depot or hardware store.

Answer:
I can't comment on retail pricing as that is set by the retailer. Model OVT22LP does have a thermostat that regulates flame height. Model OVM22/24 is a manual controlled unit that does not have a thermostat.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 60 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great set of logs Installed the logs on a Thursday. It has been about 24° up to 50° outside. My central heat didn't come on all weekend with my house staying around 72°. The thermostat function works well allowing it to come in and off as needed. Well worth the money and easy to install and setup. February 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product It's easy to install. But the manual is hard for reading and understanding. But overall, it is a good product. November 6, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A great purchase! We purchased an older home without a fireplace. Not wanting to go to the expense of installing a chimney, we purchased the Emberglow Oakwood vent free propane gas logs along with the vent free firebox. We are very pleased with our purchase. Not only has it been enjoyable on these cold, winter mornings, it has added coziness and charm to our living room. March 12, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for the price Product arrived and one of the decorative logs was broken in two, but overall for the price its a great buy. It smells when you first start it, but that's because it is burning off the new chemical on it. After a couple hours it goes away. If you are looking for an inexpensive alternative to elaborate gas logs, this is a perfect choice! January 12, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product but TERRIBLE Instructions I purchased this log set to fulfill a city requirement. I have never installed gas logs before and I had to do A LOT of outside research to learn how to install gas logs. The instructions are terrible; they never specify the process of actually connecting the connector from the gas line to the unit. They also picture the igniter in the wrong location. You must by a flexible line, the one they provide won’t work for anyone. They never tell you that you must have gas line specific Teflon tape (designed specifically for high temperatures). Whatever coating is initially on the logs sticks for about two days and we had to keep the windows open, then it was fine. Overall happy that I didn’t have to spend $500 for gas logs but more help would have been appreciated. October 6, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great logs I bought these LP logs to replace the non-functional LP logs I had in my house. I hadn't used those in 3 years, and they just didn't work. These were a perfect replacement. They arrived very well packed; nothing was broken. They shipped with a rigid pipe that was too long for my fireplace, so I had to go purchase a flexible line (SKU # 345407). I could have cut the pipe down, but I didn't have a pipe cutter or flaring device. The heat output is amazing; I have to turn the flame down to low after about 30min because the living room is so warm. I can't comment on how much LP they use yet, I've only had them for a few weeks. The logs did have a smell the first time I used them, but it wasn't bad, just noticable. Now the only thing I smell is LP fumes (they are bad, either, I can just smell it). I also purchased a carbon monoxide detector since I'm using the logs now; It's never registered anything, so I guess things are working good. February 7, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great purchase, Great Price Installed in less than 5 minutes. Haven't had very long, but working great so far. Installed in basement, they work so well we can turn the fireplace upstairs way down. Heats the whole house! January 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DO NOT BUY IF YOU DON'T HAVE ROOM FOR A 100LB LP TANK I struggled with this thing for weeks and when I called the 800 number for support, they informed me that I could not use less than a 100 pound LP tank. Why? I asked, they said it would not have enough pressure. We psi is psi right? Well apparently not because a small tank would hardly light the pilot let alone lighting the long pipe. Had to return, I was so hoping this would work for me, I am tired of hauling logs up the stairs to my condo. December 2, 2015
